Sorry for the delay but I am really busy IRL right now. We are now done with Volume 2. I will not be posting any chapter for the next 2 weeks. Sorry. However, look forward on the next one. I will also take the opportunity to fix the grammar and words from previous chapters, I can do that for few minutes unlike translating a whole chapter. Since I did not read Volume 3, my motivation should allow me to translate it like when I first started. As always, the chapter below is fake! It is a short novel written by me and my friends. You can read it if you want or ignore it if you don’t care. Either way is fine.
Chapter 6
“Invitation to the Forest City of Elves”
We were eating happily, when a knight arrived and asked us to go with him to the Throne Room. It seems Hexis and the King is calling us. While walking, Henko asked Jotaro.
“I wonder what they want?” [Henko]
“Who knows, they mentioned something about an elf but we are on the same boat here. I absolutely don’t have an idea.” [Jotaro]
While they are talking like that, we reached the throne room.
Upon entering the room, the King, Aradin, Hexis and a beautiful woman was waiting. However, I noticed something so I asked Jotaro in a low voice.
“Jotaro, do you see something weird” [Takeo]
“Huh? No, why? ” [Jotaro]
“Err, remember that I told you I can see floating symbols on everything?” [Takeo]
“Yes. If I remember correctly, you can see symbols on everything and it includes clothes, weapons and other stuff together with the person itself.” [Jotaro]
“Yes. So it’s weird but, there are 4 floating symbols surrounding that lady and those symbols are similar to what I see on a person” [Takeo]
“Invisible people?” [Jotaro]
“I think so, keep your guard up… I think something is going on” [Takeo]
After that small exchange, we go near the King.
“Thank you for coming over Heroes, we have something to ask” [King Raymond]
Without giving us the chance to answer, the beautiful lady step forward and show a piece of paper to us.
“Can you read this?” [???]
“Katakana?!” [Takeo]
I was surprised. I mean, I shouldn’t be if you consider that they are talking in Japanese. It should be natural that there will be Japanese writings in this world as well but I am still surprised.
“Oh? You know of it? Can you read what is written here?” [???]
“Those who seek the way home, help my friends and the country I made” [Jotaro]
Huh? Are these words from a fellow Japanese? There is a way home? Eh? That means he made a country in this world?
“Ahh! You can read it… you can really read it” [???]
The beautiful lady started to cry. Eh? Why? The King and Hexis were surprised as well. All of us don’t know what to do so we just watch the lady cry her heart out. After a while, she calms down and started to talk with us.
“I apologize for my unsightly behavior. My name is Vintarine Shirone Nesben, an elf magistrate from the Forest City of Elves. I arrive here seeking the help of the heroes” [Vintarine]
“That’s a weird name” [Takeo]
“Takeo!!” [Henko]
Henko dealt an elbow blow and I fell down holding my ribs. That hurts!
“I apologize for my friend’s remark. Please don’t mind him.. uhm… Miss Vintarine-san” [Henko]
“Vine is fine. I do not mind. It is a custom for elves to have such long names and we are often told that we have weird names so I am used to it” [Vine]
“You said you need our help?” [Takeo]
“Yes, I am requesting in behalf of the Forest City of Elves. I am inviting the current heroes into our home country, in exchange for your help, we will allow you to read all the books the previous hero stored in his house. Those books are similar to what you read just now”
“EEhhh!!??” [Takeo and Henko]
“Eh? So you are saying, the previous hero live in the city of elves?” [Jotaro]
“Not just live there, he made the city itself. The city is not under any country. It is a long story if you want to know the details but I do not mind telling you if you really want to” [Vine]
“What do we do?” [Henko]
“If you ask me, it is worth a shot. This is our only lead for our way home” [Jotaro]
“Yeah but, will the King be alright with that?” [Takeo]
“We do not mind, we actually about to ask you to go with her” [King Raymond]
“Hm.. why is that?” [Jotaro]
“The city of elves is a symbol of peace for the people of this world. The populace will not like it if we make the city of elves angry and as a King, I would like the best for my people” [King Raymond]
“Hmm.. Sounds right but something’s bothering me” [Takeo]
“Did you say something?” [King Raymond]
“Ah, no… just thinking by myself” [Takeo]
I answered in a hurry when King Raymond ask about the words the I murmured in very low volume. Still, this situation is too good to be true. Something is up, but I cannot figure out what.
“Alright, we accept the offer” [Jotaro]
“Great! Then, let’s go right away!” [Vine]
Vine-san clap her hands. I thought it was just a gesture because she was happy but when her hands go away from each other, a light was formed in between. She throws the light to where we are and a magic circle similar to those Maho Shoujo Anime that I watched…. errr, I mean, my sister watch appeared on our feet. A bright light blind us and before we know it, we are in a dark dungeon like place.
