The two men’s bodies stiffened suddenly and they immediately went limp on Ye Lingchen’s arms. Their whole body trembled, but they could not make a sound, and the intense pain nearly caused them to begin convulsing.

The two of them collapsed to the ground, covered their abdomen with both hands, and twitched uncontrollably.
Ye Lingchen did not even give them a second look. He raised one hand and gestured toward the stunned group of people. “Come on!”
A look of fear flashed across the eyes of that group and they hesitated.

Ye Lingchen sneered. His legs advanced, and every step produced a stomping sound as if he were stepping on their hearts.
His pace was hurried, but as he moved forward, the group of people began retreating slightly after being unable to bear the pressure.

The sound of footsteps remained the same, like a magic chant, but an invisible pressure had enveloped the entire area. Ye Lingchen’s footsteps bore down on that group of people, eliciting cold sweat on their foreheads and rapid breathing.

This is a reference to the technique used by Lu Xiaofeng (陆小凤) in the Wuxia novel series called Lu Xiaofeng Series (陆小凤系列). The technique is exactly the same as Ye Lingchen executed: clipping weapons using two fingers, usually the index and middle finger.
