After asking that, Zhuang Nai Nai waits for his answer with a racing heart.
She knows that it is probably wishful thinking on her part. She clearly knows that she thinks too much, yet, her mouth automatically asked him that the moment she saw the bed.
Si Zheng Ting stops in his steps, training his eyes on her.
Her heart races even faster upon locking eyes with him. In the end, she lowers her head, unable to look at him directly. She holds her breath, afraid of missing his answer.
After a while, she hears him say, “……..What did you say?”
Zhuang Nai Nai: …………..
She looks back at him,
her heart twisting inexplicably. She does not know what to feel. She regretted asking that, wanting to take it back if she could. But, she also feels somehow disappointed that he didn’t hear her.
She wants to ask him again, but decides against it upon a glance at his icy, expressionless face.
She swallows heavily before sighing, “Nothing.”
Si Zheng Ting nods before walking to the bathroom.
This time, his steps are a little messier and out of order compared to earlier on.
He personally designed this bed, in hopes that he would marry her one day.
But…
A self-deprecating smile appears on his face. She could find a new love in
in college, why would she care about for whom this bed was made for?
His eyes turn cold as his heart is filled with gloom. He enters the bathroom and slams the door shut.
Zhuang Nai Nai jumps up at the sound of the door being slammed.
The sound of the tap water running can be heard afterwards.
Si Zheng Ting is angry again? Why is this guy so temperamental?
She paces in the room; the sound of the water running reminds her of what is about to come. Her face turns red when she remembers what happened last night.
Will Si Zheng Ting do it again tonight?
She thought that since he
since he remained celibate for years and had never touched any women, his demands wouldn’t be too big. But, after experiencing last night, she is no longer so sure.
Zhuang Nai Nai feels like she doesn’t even dare to breathe. She is starting to get restless. In the end, she sits on the sofa, clutching the edge of her dress.
People say that a woman’s first time will be painful.
But, her mother raised her so strongly and fed her so well that she is now healthier than most women. Other than her sore legs and her sore private part, she is perfectly fine everywhere else.
Even so, she does not she does not think she can handle it if it is to happen again tonight.
As she thinks of that, the sound of the water stops. Her heart jumps inside her chest as she stares at the bathroom anxiously. She is more anxious tonight than last night.
Last night, she didn’t think that Si Zheng Ting would consummate their marriage, and when he did, it happened so fast that she didn’t have time to think about anything else. But now…..
The bathroom door is pulled open.
She jumps up, looking around nervously. Her entire body language spells awkward. She really wants to find a place to hide herself in.
