It's disheartening. When you see more comments on a site that has stolen your work, it tells you those readers spit on you. When they thank thieves for the chapter, have engrossing conversations, and support others...It tells us as creators that you do not care for the work we put in.
Out of all the large sites out there, JFB receives probably the least in terms of donations. Doesn't phase us. But the creators that provide you with chapters sometimes 5-10x a week, and you can't even read the chapter on the very platform they put their work on? That is another story. That is you disregarding everything that we are.
Some may ask, 'What is the point of continuing?', if you despise us so much. You rather read from thieves.

The meeting room becomes quiet.
Seeing the victorious look on Xue Rong’s face, Zhuang Nai Nai steals a look at Shi Hao Yu, her eyes becoming sharp.
Her cheek still feels burning. She lowers her head, looking so pitiful that people’s hearts ache, “Xue Rong, I am sorry…..”
After she says that, Manager Wang and Shi Hao Yu breathe out in relief. If they want this matter to end, Zhuang Nai Nai needs to lower her head.
Zhuang Nai Nai continues speaking, “….. This is all my fault. I shouldn’t have called Shi
Shi Hao Yu spineless just because you told me that he is only marrying you because of your father….”
Shi Hao Yu’s face turns green.
Shi Hao Yu had been the Design Department’s most handsome man; he has his own pride. Although that is indeed the reason why he is marrying Xue Rong, that doesn’t mean that she is allowed to say that to everyone she meets.
Xue Rong didn’t think that Zhuang Nai Nai would say that out loud. Despite everything, her feelings for him are real. She only said everything she said to make Zhuang Nai Nai feel inferior. She hastily tries to explain everything to Shi Hao Yu, “Hao Yu, husband, I………”
Before she even finishes speaking, Shi Hao Yu turns around and walks away.
She gets up, wanting to chase after him. She turns to Zhuang Nai Nai first, “Zhuang Nai Nai, you—- Good! Good!”

After saying that, she raises her hand and———– ‘slap’.

She hits the stunned Xue Rong right in the face.
After doing that, Zhuang Nai Nai rubs her own wrist while smiling sweetly, “Xue Rong, I’ve always hated owing someone something. That slap, I have returned it to you.”
Xue Rong is shocked. She angrily rushes towards Zhuang Nai Nai, “You dared to hit me? You dared to hit me!”
Zhuang Nai Nai grabs her by the wrist, narrowing her eyes dangerously at her, “Xue Rong, are you sure you can afford to hit me again?” She pushes Xue Rong with force, causing her to stumble backwards for a couple of steps.
Xue Rong looks at her in disbelief, “Manager Wang, is this how you work? Are you going to just allow your staff to hit your customers?”
Even Manager Wang is shocked by Zhuang Nai Nai’s actions. He snaps out of his thoughts, swallowing heavily before saying, “What are you doing, Zhuang Nai Nai? You better apologize to Miss Xue right now, or else…..”
“I won’t do else…..”
“I won’t do it! I can’t do this anymore!”
Her outburst causes Manager Wang to choke a little, “What do you mean by you won’t do this? Are you quitting?”
Zhuang Nai Nai sneers, “Yes, I am quitting! I will hand over my resignation letter later!”
After saying that, she turns around and walks away.
“Zhuang Nai Nai!” Xue Rong yells after her.
She stops in her steps, turning around to find Xue Rong glaring maniacally at her.
