Proceeding eastwards all the way through, he reached the east city gates. Ye Wuchen did not head back, and instead exited the gates. Outside, in a nearby distance, the corners of Ye Wuchen mouth turn up as he completely reveals the extent of his power. White shadows emitted from his body. Like he was flying on the ground he uses a frightening speed to run ahead, causing the passers-by in the surroundings to be surprised and flabbergasted.
Ye Wuchen’s speed could be considered universally shocking, but Tao BaiBai, who was regarded as the number one killer, did not lack in speed. After a moment of amazement, his body similarly exuded the white shadow that swept in front of him. His speed was as fast as Ye Wuchen’s, and dust clouds of sand and dirt formed from the dry land.
Behind them, tailing from a distance were the four messengers Feng, Hua, Xue, and Yue, who looked at each other in shock and cried out in surprise, “So fast!”
They did not have the time for hesitation. With all their might, they pushed their speeds to the maximum level and then chase after the direction of the two whose distances only grew farther and farther away.
Tao BaiBai knew that his presence had been exposed, so his only aim was to overtake then kill immediately.
Ye Wuchen turned to look, and the sight made his heart shiver slightly, “So fast!”
The two white shadows, one in front and the other at the back, were evenly matched during the chase. Ye Wuchen clearly knew that it was due to his secret power that he was able to achieve the same speed as Tao BaiBai. If he was to directly go against the man, he would be unable to withstand a single blow. As he continuously used his top speed, his energy was quickly being consumed, and the one who will be in a difficult position would be him.
Ye Wuchen was like a cool breeze, while Tao BaiBai was like a light mist. Ye Wuchen was amazed at Tao BaiBai’s speed. And though Tao BaiBai’s face was still as emotionless as a dead man, internally he was a hundred times more surprised than Ye Wuchen.

But he slips and calls his dad by the alias last name, “桃太郎” which is Momotaro from the japanese peach boy legend. Then he corrects himself to say his dad’s name was “陶太郎” which is some clay doll making company. Basically, this was all one bad pun.]
But because of a good man called Mars Gravity, who was making fun of him, he was still called Tao BaiBai.
The two of them had speeds that were too fast, and after a few moments, they had already cleared a distance of ten kilometers. The surroundings no longer had traces of any passers-by, and ahead of Ye Wuchen was a gloomy view. With astonishment, he realized it was the Black Forest that had caused people to flinch and run from the area. Having used his fastest speed to reach this far, he eventually started to feel somewhat exhausted.
Ye Wuchen’s footsteps abruptly stopped the moment he entered the Black Forest, then turned to glance at Tao BaiBai who was still absorbing the dust from his wake. Just as he expected, Tao BaiBai did not directly clash against him, and instead he stopped at a distance of ten meters from him, glancing at him with a cold gaze.
A real killer should not expose themselves, but remain hidden in a dark place, to be able to execute a strike that would surely kill the target. If he was not able to kill in one strike then he should flee a thousand miles away, without delay.
“You are not a worthy killer.” Ye Wuchen said smiling, with a relaxed face, and without any form of impatience or fear, “Firstly, you didn’t accurately find inside information on your target, then you strike without any careful consideration. Sometimes your failed assassinations will result in your own life becoming lost. Secondly, you should have launched a surprise attack without hesitation. When I stopped, you also stopped. Obviously, your heart was confused, and you lost confidence. A killer should do things neat and tidy, but now you are full of hesitation.”
How can Tao BaiBai relax his mind when facing a person comparable to himself? If he had such speeds, would his powers even be what was initially expected?”
Or maybe, his powers only manifested in speed?

“I, Tao BaiBai, have never feared anybody. Since you are my target, you… should die!” his withered lips moved rapidly, spilling out a voice that was exceptionally rough and horrible. He was a man of few words who could keep silent for long periods of time, so his facial muscles had became obviously stiff.
“Fourthly, you should never have opened your mouth to talk.” Ye Wuchen shook his head irresolutely, “I don’t know you got that number one killer title. Although you could have the power to take control of the Tian Long Nation, you should not be arrogant. The most fundamental character of a killer is being calm and cautious, yet you disregard them. If you continue to do this way, you could end up disastrously…”
The great number one killer was unexpectedly being lectured by his victim. The muscles on Tao BaiBai’s face twitched slightly, as he was about to make his next move only to discover that Ye Wuchen had pulled up a small black ball from his pocket. In a joyfully satisfied manner, his victim spoke, “You know why I’m not afraid of you? Because I have these mines from the Hua Family. No matter how strong you are, as the number one killer, once you are hit by one of my mines you will still die in pieces, hehe…”
Tao BaiBai’s face was still calm as ever, looking at Ye Wuchen like he was watching an idiot.
Ye Wuchen laughed deviously, “Why, are you afraid now? But it’s too late. Since you dared to assassinate me, do you think I would easily let you return to your Thousand Murders Pavilion alive?”
As he spoke, Ye Wuchen suddenly struck. His hand tossed out a mine with a loud whoosh as it flew towards the “unprepared” Tao BaiBai. Tao BaiBai’s head slanted as the mine ball almost brush past his ear. Subsequently, behind him a loud explosion sounded and where the surface exploded, dust flew upward.
Ye Wuchen’s second mine followed, directly hitting Tao BaiBai’s chest. Yet another bang had sounded, but before Ye Wuchen could cheer, he was stunned. Tao BaiBai was still standing in the same spot, emotionless. His form did not even draw back, the mine, which could blow up the ground, did not even cause any damage on his clothes, causing injury was less likely.
The mine was often deadly to an ordinary person, but for a Heaven-Level expert it was not any different from a tickle. If a Heaven-Level expert was willing, they could completely produce a force destructive enough to beat the mines. Like Lin Yan’s “Flame of Anger—Burn the Entire Eight Desolation”, which could turn an entire hundred meter radius into ashes. This same power was not attainable by a thousand pieces of mines.
Even Ye Wuchen, if he were to defend against a mines, he would also come out unscathed.
Ye Wuchen’s becomes startled. Unconvinced, he threw another and same as the others, before the mine could touch Tao BaiBai’s clothes, it exploded upon hitting an invisible shield, inflicting not even the slightest bit of damage.
Ye Wuchen was obviously confused now. He consecutively threw two balls. One after the other, they flew towards Tao BaiBai. Backing off a fews steps, he fiercely took cover on the floor.
Boom.
Tao BaiBai did not even care to evade whatever those being referred to as mines. The first of the two had already exploded before his chest. The next one, in the split second before it bombarded his chest, his being suddenly shivered from an intense feeling of crisis. The similar sense of warning had been felt numerous times whenever he was on the edge between life and death. It had long become an instinct, and it had never failed him.
Having no time to dodge, he tried all his might to retreat, simultaneously releasing his Heaven-Level power to its limits…

Sand particles filled the sky and the earth trembled. Ye Wuchen had been prepared but the loud explosion still vibrated through his ears, followed by his body being shaken by the aftershocks, causing him to roll off more than ten meters before it stopped. If he had not laid down flat on the floor before the explosion, even with all his power, he might have still been blown away by the explosion.
Truly a “Heaven Shaking” mine.
Although he could not kill Tao BaiBai with the explosion, at least he was now battered and exhausted.
A body was flung like a dried leaf the center of explosion where Tao BaiBai had been located. The floor now had a huge hole more than ten meters wide. Hiding under the sky of sand, Ye Wuchen was temporarily unable to see where Tao BaiBai had landed. He stood up and brushed off the dust from his body. All of a sudden, a white shadow flashed in the corner of his eye as a cold ray and a biting cold murderous spirit pointed on his neck.
Ye Wuchen turned pale with fright, using his fastest speed to retreat. Having been caught off guard, although he avoided a vital injury, a very long wound was slashed across his neck. He escaped like a ghost, entering the Black Forest, his tracks quickly disappeared under the cover of the trees.
Tao BaiBai’s body was covered in dust, his clothes in strips, and his internal organs had been slightly injured by the severe explosion. Such level of explosion would not usually bring harm to him, but after three mine balls, followed by a Heaven Shaking Mine that looked exactly the same, he was completely off guard. He was not an expert in defense either, so he was now battered and exhausted. Being teased by someone brought anger to his heart.
Ye Wuchen was the cause of his fury. When a killer’s state of mind was jarred, the first thing that he would lose was his calm.
Seeing the blood on his blade, Tao BaiBai took on a sinister face. Ye Wuchen was able to conceal his breath, and he completely unable to sense it.
