It was a long weekend, so he bought a few hairy crabs for himself. He was making his own porridge with the crabs. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get the taste of Yan Su’s porridge.
He was frustrated. He opened his social media application and saw the pictures of scenery that Yan Su had just posted. In one of the photos, she was wearing a nice dress standing on a bridge. She was smiling brightly and radiantly.
Mo Liuxi stared at the phone and commented, “Not pretty.”
Yan Su ignored him, but Luosang commented below him, “Don’t be ridiculous! You look beautiful.”
Mo Liuxi threw his phone to the side.
Luosang called him soon after. “Isn’t it your holiday? Why didn’t you come to Ma’s place?”
“I don’t want to,” Mo Liuxi coldly answered.
“Where are you?” Luosang asked.
“In my apartment,” Mo Liuxi replied.
Luosang was worried. Her handsome brother was spending his holiday cooped up at home.
“Come over, I’m at Ma’s place,” she said. “Let’s have a meal together as a family. I haven’t seen you since the wedding. I miss you.”
Mo Liuxi lightly laughed His voice was full of skepticism as he replied, “You miss me? Will Nian Junting allow you to miss me?”
“What would I lie to you for?” Luosang asked. “Of course, I miss my good-looking brother. It’s too bad I’m pregnant. Otherwise, I would visit you every day.”
Mo Liuxi was silent because he finally agreed. Xu Zhengxuan’s cooking was not half bad.
It took him an hour to drive over. When he entered the door, he saw Mo Jin talking to Luosang on the couch. Xu Zhengxuan was mopping the floor, which made him frown.
“We need a cleaner at home,” Mo Jin lazily said. “He volunteered.”
“Liuxi, how’s school? You can ask me if you need help with anything.” Xu Zhengxuan stood up. “Your dad used to be the principle of An City University. I know some things about directing.”
“Thanks, but it’s fine. I know everything,” Mo Liuxi said with a frown.. “I thought you were going back to An City to be a principle? How do you have time to be a cleaner here?”
Xu Zhengxuan laughed and replied, “I’m not going back anymore. I asked Professor Ma to recommend me to be a professor at Ximei. I’ll be teaching Film Studies there next semester. The Ximei principle was very welcoming. Liuxi, I will be your professor next year.”
The corner of Mo Liuxi’s mouth twitched.
Luosang smiled and said, “Although Dad went to prison, he still retained his knowledge. He used to be a principle and is well experienced in the field. Ximei was very happy to welcome Dad to their faculty.”
Mo Liuxi couldn’t help but say, “It’s a big difference in terms of salary being a principle in An City and being a professor here.”
“It’s fine as long as I can still cook and clean for your Mother.” Xu Zhengxuan grinned and looked over at Mo Jin. “I’ll cook up a feast for you tonight.”
Mo Liuxi sat on the sofa and looked at Mo Jin, who took a graceful sip of her tea.
“He volunteered,” she said with a shrug.
“The little brat kicked me again,” Luosang suddenly said.
Mo Liuxi looked over. Luosang was wearing a thin dress. There was an obvious dent in her tummy.
“He’s going to be a little devil,” he said.
Luosang sighed and said, “I just want to give birth quickly and get back to work. I’m so envious of Su, who is flying everywhere.”
She looked over at Mo Liuxi at the mention of Yan Su and asked, “You have Yan Su’s WeChat account? Have you eased your relationship with her? I heard from Lu Kang that you made chicken wings for her, are you two…”
“I made chicken wings for her?” Mo Liuxi burst into a chuckle. “How can that be?”
