Jiaojiao sighed. “If I want to be honest, you’ve already gotten your bachelor’s degree. For someone in the entertainment industry, you already have great credentials. Are you sure you want to obtain a master’s or a doctorate? It’s so tiring, and there are so many celebrities who get their degree through connections nowadays.”
“That’s different. I want to earn my degree myself, and with my abilities! I’ll only be confident of my achievements that way.” Yan Su shook her head. “I’m learning music anyway, and the things that the professors teach are very helpful. I applied some of what I’ve learned! Aren’t my new songs nice?”
Jiaojiao was at a loss of words, unable to rebut her.
After about 20 minutes, the car drove into a small neighborhood, and Yan Su dived back into studying after taking a shower.
After a while, just when her eyes were about to close from exhaustion, someone abruptly lifted her body.
Before she could react, she was already on top of the study desk.
Soon, she could only hear ragged breathing and sounds of urgent kisses.
Yan Su became wide awake. She tried to push him away, but she did not succeed. The man’s kisses were urgent and passionate. He kissed her till her lips were sore and hot before he started kissing her nose, her eyes, her brows, and then back to her lips.
In their brief exchange, her blood was gushing through her system with excitement, and the room was getting warm and sticky.
In the blur of things, she could hear a clear voice. She opened her eyes and forcefully covered his hungry lips. The two of them locked eyes, and she asked, “Weren’t you out of the city filming something?”
“I just finished. I’m back,” Mo Liuxi said with a hoarse voice, “I missed you so much.”
The young man’s hormones were overwhelming, causing Yan Su to blush. “I… I’m still reading my books…”
“Read them later, I’m going crazy thinking about you!” Mo Liuxi kissed her lips violently with purpose and need.
“Wait… the windows are open…”
Mo Liuxi slammed the light switch and turned off the lights. Only the warm glow of the moon streamed into the room. The two of them could only make out the rough silhouettes of each other and the bright reflections of their eyes.
Yan Su thought that Mo Liuxi’s eyes were hungry like a wolf the whole time; a wolf that had been starved for a long time, and she was his prey.
When they were done, Yan Su was exhausted and covered in sweat.
Mo Liuxi helped her get dressed and turned on the lights again. When he saw her flushed cheeks and dewy skin, he desperately wanted to take her again in the bedroom. However, he knew that she was exhausted from all her practices and she was having her exams soon.
“Did you miss me?” he asked while pressing against her lips.
“Yeah, I did, but now I want to read my textbooks.” Yan Su pushed him away gently, and she turned to grab her textbook. However, she was embarrassed when she saw the book. “Mo Liuxi, my book is all covered in water…”
“Hmm, it’s not mine!” Mo Liuxi chuckled softly.
Yan Su was speechless.
He was truly shameless. She hit him on his chest and chided, “I still have to use this book! How am I supposed to read it now?!”
“It’s fine, I’ll just go blow dry it with a hairdryer or something.” Mo Liuxi grinned and stood up.
Yan Su wanted to hit him again. “That’s not the issue here, alright? It’s just so embarrassing!”
She dirtied the book doing it, and she would be too embarrassed to use the book in the future.
It was like holding onto a piece of hot coal. “It’s all your fault! Why did we have to do it here?”
“I couldn’t press the brakes!” Mo Liuxi grunted softly, took the book from her hands, and walked away.
Yan Su watched him disappear through the door, and she suddenly realized that she should be the one drying the book. It was utterly embarrassing.
