Nian Xi almost cried. “I’m sorry, I can’t think as positively as you do,” she said.
Jiang Yuning furrowed his eyebrows, moved his lips slightly, but didn’t say anything. In the end, he took out his phone and started to spend time on it.
Nian Xi was so unhappy. It was not his fault that he did not know how to play cards. However, he shouldn’t be spending time on his phone and thinking about global warming when she was losing money.
Nian Xi lost a few other rounds. In the end, she gave up. It was not her money that she was losing anyway. The real owner of the money didn’t care, so why should she be so anxious?
However, losing the game, made her feel uncomfortable.
An Lan walked over and said, “It’s inappropriate for you guys to bully a girl, isn’t it?”
“We’re not bullying her. She lost. Besides, I didn’t take her bombs unless I had to,” said Mo Liuxi blandly. Sometimes, people just won. When someone won big, all the others in the game had to pay. So far, the three guys had each won a few rounds, so none of them suffered a heavy loss. Nian Xi was the only one who hadn’t gotten a chance to win yet.
“Nian Xi.” An Lan sighed. “How about I play for you? I’m better than you at this.”
Right when Nian Xi was thinking about if she should run away, Jiang Yuning said, I’ll do it.”
“You don’t know how the game works, do you?” Nian Xi looked at him helplessly. “I know you have money and you don’t mind losing it, but I’m a girl, so they’ve shown me some mercy. If you join the game, they won’t be showing you any mercy at all.”
“It’s okay. I’ve been watching you guys play, and I’ve learned about the game on the internet just now. I think I know how it works,” Jiang Yuning said with a deep voice. “It’s simple.”
Simple? Simple my ass, Nian Xi said in her head.
“Eh… it may seem simple, but it can be hard when your opponents are really good at it.” Nian Xi tried to talk him out of it in an indirect way.
“But it’s really simple,” Jiang Yuning said. “You only have one-hundred and thirty-six cards in total. There are just a few ways to play them. You can easily calculate it using math.”
Hearing his confident tone, Nian Junting said, “He has no idea what the game is really like. Nian Xi, let him play.”
Nian Xi had no choice but to give Jiang Yuning her seat, praying that Jiang Yuning wouldn’t lose too much money.
As the game began, Jiang Yuning picked the cards clumsily.

Xiao Si glanced at his cards and said, “What? You can win with those cards?”
“Yeah. Earlier, I watched you guys play and noticed that you don’t like to keep this card,” Jiang Yuning responded.
“Yuning, you are amazing! I thought you were looking at your phone or having an inner journey just now!” said Nian Xi excitedly.
Jiang Yuning gave a small smile and said, “Don’t you like to win? I can’t say for sure that I’ll always win, but I can guarantee that I’ll never lose.”
“Boy, don’t be arrogant.” Nian Junting gave a cold smile. He heard what Jiang Yuning said. The boy didn’t take him and the others in the game seriously. He considered himself a very smart man, but still, he shouldn’t dare to say something like that. “Today, I’ll teach you how to be humble.”
Xiao Si paused briefly with confusion and said to him, “Tingting, I understand that some others might be able to teach people how to be humble, but does that word really exist in your life?”
“No. But other people have to be humble in front of me,” said Nian Junting coldly.
