The stillness lasted for a few seconds.
Jiang Yuning had never been through something like that. After a short daze, he hurriedly said, “It’s okay. I have money, and I don’t spend much. I’ll give you my money.”
‘This guy seems to be so innocent normally, and turns out to be pretty smart,’ Nian Xi thought.
To be honest, if he tried to convince her to save money, she might stop giving him any chance.
She didn’t like the guys who would tell girls to save money. ‘You don’t have money? It’s fine. I have money. You can spend my money’–That was what she wanted to hear from a guy.
His money might not be enough for her, but it would be fine. As long as he had that willingness to spend money for her.
For a guy like that, she would even be willing to live a poor life together with him, if necessary.
He was happy to provide for her. That was already good enough.
She wasn’t thinking of the ones who would try to tell her to save money as bad people. She just felt that if a boy really liked her, he would be happy to spend money for her, instead of trying to stop her from spending too much money. Also, her family environment made her hate being restrained.
“Why would I spend your money? I can make my own money,” Nian Xi raised her eyebrows.
She liked him, but still, she couldn’t spend his money just like that.
Jiang Yuning pouted slightly, said, “But, if you don’t spend my money, how am I supposed to spend my money?”
Nian Xi was touched, and also jealous of him. “Oh, I can’t believe you have that kind of worry.”
She herself owned a lot of properties and had a super-rich family. However, the money she earned by being a policewoman was never enough for her.

“How do you put money in your WeChat account?” He asked Nian Xi.
“You need to connect it with your bank account,” Nian Xi parked at his downstairs then picked up her phone, sent him ten yuan, “Here, the change that the restaurant owner gave me just now.”
“Don’t give it to me,” Jiang Yuning wasn’t happy to receive the money. He liked it when she spent his money.
“I know ten yuan means nothing to you. But, we’re friends now. I don’t like taking advantage of friends,” Nian Xi explained.
Jiang Yuning was still unhappy.
“I like it when you take advantage of me,” he said.
Nian Xi, again, didn’t know what to say. Jiang Yuning talked way too straightforward. Sometimes, she felt really awkward when talking to him.
“Just go home. I’m going home to rest too,” said Nian Xi.
“Hmm,” Jiang Yuning opened the door, put a foot out of the car, then asked her another question, “When can I clean your apartment?”
He didn’t forget about that. Nian Xi found it both funny and annoying. She looked at his serious face, said to him, “I don’t want you to clean my apartment.” She knew clearly that he was trying to create a chance to get close to her.
“I’m good at cleaning,” Jiang Yuning said disappointedly.
“But, I could use some company for shopping, eating, and movies,” Nian Xi continued with, “Do you have time?”
“What?” Jiang Yuning blinked. It took him a while to react, “Yeah-yeah.”
“But I’m working on the case recently. We’ll do those things when I have time,” said Nian Xi, “Oh, can you ask your colleagues about how carbon powders are normal used in colleges, except for making copies?”
Jiang Yuning scratched the back of his head.
Nian Xi explained to him, “Duan Yang had carbon powder in his nails.”
