“That’s true.” Jiaojiao stretched out lazily. “Since we’re out here anyway, let’s wait a little longer.”
Mo Liuxi was silent now. He was staring at her.
As a director, he thought that her acting was terrible.
Jiaojiao wanted to cry. She didn’t know what else to do.
Suddenly, the door opened and Shi Xiang walked out. His handsome face was stained by a smudge of pink on his cheek. Mo Liuxi was stunned when he saw him.
Mo Liuxi could clearly see the stain for himself.
He remembered Yan Su wearing the same shade of lipstick earlier that day.
What were they doing? How did her lipstick end up on his cheek?
It was apparent to him.
His hands were twisted into fists within his pockets.
Jiaojiao could see it and she shuddered. She wanted to say something to him, but she didn’t know what to say since Mo Liuxi was right beside her.
Shi Xiang was not in the mood to make small talk either. He gave Mo Liuxi a polite nod before walking off.
Jiaojiao was thinking about the lipstick smudge when Mo Liuxi whispered in her ear, “You should go wipe it off. There are so many reporters around, it would be catastrophic if they took of a picture of him like that.”
Jiaojiao sprinted after Shi Xiang immediately.
Mo Liuxi looked at the door. It was left ajar.
He pushed it open and walked in before closing the door behind him.
Yan Su thought that Jiaojiao had returned already, so she quickly turned away and rubbed her eyes. “Don’t ask me anything, I just want to cool down by myself.”
“What do you need to calm down for?” a man said with a cold voice.
Yan Su was shocked. When she turned, it was Mo Liuxi standing behind her. His handsome face looked sickly and his expression was stern.
“Why didn’t you knock?” She was having a headache. She had just sent away the previous man, after all. She just wanted some time alone to calm down.
She wondered if he bumped into Shi Xiang when he’d left the room earlier.
Mo Liuxi didn’t reply to her. He was busy inspecting her from head to toe. Her eyes were teary and streaks of tears could be seen on her face.
Her lips were painted the same shade as the stain on Shi Xiang’s face.
She’d had intimate contact with Shi Xiang.
Mo Liuxi felt a fire burning inside him when he thought about that. He felt hurt and his heart ached.
At the press event, he’d caught Shi Xiang staring at Yan Su several times. He’d obviously been paying her special attention when he’d asked her to join the game. He had also been taking care of her in the elevator.
He thought that Shi Xiang might have a crush on Yan Su. Either that or he was just making use of her for media attention.
It seemed like he was completely wrong.
He hadn’t been in a rush to court her in the beginning.
Slow and steady wins the race. He was prepared to chase her slowly.
But he might have been too slow.
What if she ended up with another man?
Mo Liuxi couldn’t imagine the consequences. He might lose his reasoning and do something unimaginable.
“What is your relationship with Shi Xiang?” Mo Liuxi was drawing closer to her now, his eyes clouded with rage. Yan Su was scared. He had seen Shi Xiang walk out of the room then.
Although he was younger than her, he was tall and exuded a menacing vibe.
“He and I… we don’t have anything to do with one another. He was just here to talk to me about the MV.” Yan Su averted her gaze.
