At that thought, Feng Wu headed for the Dayless Woods right away.
She went through the Sacred Imperial Spider’s woods first.
The spider was perched on a branch, looking bored. Bunches of grapes dangled from another branch, and the spider was popping them out of fun.
All it could think of was Feng Wu and Jun Linyuan.
The last thing it expected to see was the adorable Feng Wu hanging out with the terrifying Jun Linyuan. To make it worse, they were even a couple!
The spider had hidden in the dark and watched them for a while. Poor little Feng Wu. Jun Linyuan had total control of her.
The Sacred Imperial Spider couldn’t understand why she wasn’t afraid of him!
“The girl said she would be back. When can I see her again?”
Somehow, the Sacred Imperial Spider felt bored.
It missed having Feng Wu around. She brought so much life to these woods, laughing one moment and asking for help the next. She was so much fun.
The spider was still pondering over that question when a figure popped into sight.
The spider recognized the person.
“Feng Wu?!” The spider was astonished. What a coincidence!
However, the spider only glanced at Feng Wu and snorted. “I thought you’d never come back!”
“I said I would visit you, and here I am.” Feng Wu chuckled.
The spider snorted. “How long has it been since the last time we met? I thought you’d never come! Did that devil lock you up?”
“What devil?” Feng Wu was perplexed.
“He’s not a devil to you! You were so familiar with that teenager. Don’t pretend you don’t know him!”
Feng Wu said, “Are you talking about Jun Linyuan?”
The spider snorted and looked away. “I don’t want to hear that name!”
Feng Wu chuckled. She remembered Jun Linyuan said he used to ransack the Dayless Woods when he was little.
Jun Linyuan could beat up the Sacred Imperial Spider when he was only a little boy, while Feng Wu was still far inferior to the spider now. The comparison made Feng Wu rather frustrated.
Seeing that Feng Wu wouldn’t say anything, the spider stared at her. “What? Has Jun Linyuan made you forget how to speak?”
Feng Wu was speechless.
The spider said proudly, “What, are you afraid of him? Just hit him back!”
Feng Wu asked, “Are you bold enough to do that?”
The spider didn’t know what to say.
It glared at Feng Wu before turning away.

The spider wouldn’t talk to Feng Wu.
Feng Wu was on the same side as Jun Linyuan, and the spider was very upset.
Feng Wu said, “If you don’t talk to me, I’m leaving now!”
The spider still wouldn’t talk to her.
It soon realized things had become very quiet, so it turned around.
Where was little Feng Wu? Was she really gone?
The spider complained, “Why did she run away? I’m not done yet! Jun Linyuan beat me up, and he’ll pay for that! Feng Wu, come back!”
