The others all nodded.
“Do you really think our progress was because of Master Taihe?” Wang Nian asked tentatively.
“Is it not?” The others were intrigued.
“I thought it was Master Taihe, too, but I heard Captain Chen talking to Xiao Wu just then. She added something to the dishes, which is why we all made progress!”
“What did she add?”
“I think it was the legendary spirit wine.”
“Holy sh*t! Spirit wine? I heard about it from my tutor. She said everybody used to make fast progress when the school had a lot of spirit wine. No one got stuck at the Spiritual King stage. However, the spirit wine ran out.”
