Hasty footsteps came from outside.
Seeing that things were going south, Mrs Dugu and Mrs Zuo had gone to fetch Empress Dugu to save the day.
Empress Dugu arrived to find the mad Jun Wuxia kneeling on the ground. She then saw Emperor Wu, whose cheeks was still bleeding, and the unscathed Feng Wu and Jun Wuxia…
She wanted to run to Jun Wuxia’s side immediately, but she was more sensible than that and knew that Emperor Wu was more important.

Taking Emperor Wu’s hand, Empress Dugu was heartbroken. She then shouted, “Doctor! Where’s the doctor?” Master Chu was away, but luckily, Bai, the eunuch, was around.
Bai hurried into the tent with a medical kit, but Emperor Wu stopped him.
He walked up to Jun Wuxia and looked at her in frustration and disappointment.
“Jun Wuxia, when did you become so unruly?!” Emperor Wu was furious. “Not only did you poison Her Majesty, you injured me as well! How dare you?!”
Jun Wuxia had calmed down a little, but she was still very angry.

“Bring the fifth princess here!” Emperor Wu kept his gaze on Feng Wu, his eyes glinting coldly.
Mrs Dugu and Mrs Zuo exchanged excited looks.
They were convinced that Feng Wu had cooked the fish, because that was what Jun Wuxia told them.
Emperor Wu stared at Jun Wuxia. “If Feng Wu gave you the roast fish, why did you insist earlier that you cooked them yourself?!”
