Chapter 10: The Girls’ Dormitory
Working together, the trio soon killed all the zombies surrounding the girls’ dormitory.
Yue quickly rushed into the security room of the girls’ dormitory, took a bunch of keys and a lock, then ran out to the gate of the girl’s dormitory and locked it up.
Outside the girls’ dormitory, there were about 100 zombies walking by unsteadily. Those zombies were attracted to the commotion caused by Yue and Ji Qingwu.
Compared to the boys’ dormitory, Yun Hua University’s girls’ dormitory was built more carefully and looked better. The boys’ dormitory had thin, tattered wooden doors, while the girls’ dormitory doors were made from aluminium, therefore the defense there was better than the boys’ dormitory.
That was because Yun Hua University once had an extremely bad case of burglary: in the aftermath of that event, in order to protect the safety of the girls, all the girls’ dormitory’s wooden doors were replaced with aluminium ones.
In the girls’ dormitory, the zombies heard the noise from outside and staggered out from the rooms. Many of the zombies were stuck at the door constantly banging against it. When the ‘End of the World’ had occurred, many people had been resting in the afternoon, so there were quite a few room doors that were closed.
But even so, there were still over 20 zombies that staggered out from the rooms.
Outside the dormitory, nearly 100 zombies were surrounding the area. The situation was extremely dire. If completely surrounded by zombies, the trio would die from zombie bites.
“Follow me.” Ji Qingwu looked at the surrounding zombies heading towards their direction and quickly rushed up the stairs.
Yue and White Bones closely followed behind her up the stairs.
There were a couple zombies wandering around on the stairs. Ji Qingwu, Yue and White Bones all rushed forward and slaughtered all the zombies in just a blink of an eye.
Ji Qingwu had just reached the 3rd floor when all of a sudden, 4 zombies suddenly showed up in the stairwell and wildly rushed towards her.
The 4 zombies completely blocked up the stairway, so that Ji Qingwu was unable to avoid them.
Ji Qingwu used her snake-like strike to smash the zombie in the head, smashing it to the side.
The remaining 3 zombies then pounced unabated towards Ji Qingwu, who was unable to avoid them.
Seeing that Ji Qingwu was about to be caught by the 3 zombies, White Bones swung his axe like a cyclone coming through, crushing a zombie head into meat paste.
Yue also took a long stride forward, smashing his staff onto the head of a zombie, causing it to twist to the side; at the same time, he hit Ji Qingwu lightly, knocking her to the ground.
The remaining zombie viciously clawed at Yue’s left arm, completely ripping his sleeve. His left arm was almost broken by the power of the zombie.
That female zombie was so close to Yue, he could smell the rancid odour coming from its body. The female zombie with her face tattered from being bitten made Yue wantto vomit- he did not want to turn into something like that.
Yue brutally kicked the female zombie in the abdomen and his strength from levelling up erupted, sending the zombie flying back 2 meters. White Bones stepped forward, chopping at the female zombie head with his axe and killing it.
Right as the female zombie died, a White Treasure Box appeared next to its body.
Ji Qingwu quickly got up from the ground and came towards Yue with a pale face, worriedly looking at his injured left arm.
“Yue, are you alright?!”
The scariest thing about fighting against zombies was that with just a little scratch, the victim would get infected and turn into a zombie, with no cure.

“It’s alright, I am wearing a protective garment that can fend off three zombie attacks.” Yue slowly said with a pale face.
This was the most dangerous moment he had experienced so far; if he didn’t have the protective garment, at this time he would have already been infected .
With pure eyes, Ji Qingwu looked at Yue and solemnly thanked him,
“Thank you for saving my life, Yue. For this kindness, I will find a way to repay you!”
“Go look for your friends. We do not have time!” Yue looked at the surroundings, quickly grabbed the White Treasure Box and put it in his backpack. The female zombies were walking towards them from behind. In the rooms on the 3rd floor, there were also female zombies staggering out.
Not dragging her feet, Ji Qingwu took a stride forward and killed 2 zombies with an explosive strike, before rushing to room 304 and said,
“Chen Yao! It’s Ji Qingwu! I’m here to save you, open the door!”
“Qingwu, it’s you? You came! Quickly move the stuff away!” In that room, there suddenly came a cry of joy and the rustling sound of things being moved around.
At this point on the 3rd floor, more and more zombies were coming out.
Seeing that the zombie numbers were growing, Yue’s eyes flashed with a grim look.
“I’m going to take care of them for a bit, watch this place!”
Yue turned towards Ji Qingwu and said.
The zombies were growing in numbers, so if he didn’t kill some now, it would be too difficult to take care of them later.
Ji Qingwu’s eyes flashed with a light then came towards Yue, and said with a smile,
“I will go with you!”
“Okay!” Yue nodded and strode forward along with White Bones, rushing towards those zombies.
Ji Qingwu followed behind the two. The trio together killed each zombie that was heading towards the 3rd floor.
“Amazing!” A round-faced girl looked out from within the room. Seeing Ji Qingwu, Yue and White Bones continuing to kill the zombies, her eyes flashed with admiration.
There were over 100 zombies on the 3rd floor of the dormitory and after a while, the trio felt their stamina continuously being consumed, causing their bodies to feel heavy.
Having strengthened himself a couple times, Yue reluctantly endured it. Howver, Ji Qingwu was already dripping with sweat and breathing heavily, not as powerful as before. Her speed had slowed a lot, and several times she came close to being captured by the zombies.
At this critical moment, Chen Yao’s dormitory door finally opened.
“Qingwu, come over here!”
Chen Yao stuck her head out and shouted loudly towards Ji Qing Wu.
The trio soon rushed into the dorm room, quickly shutting the door.
With the door shut, the 4 girls immediately pushed a computer desk and a small table with cabinets on top to block the door.
Entering the dorm, Ji Qingwu sat on a bed panting heavily, her sweat falling onto the ground like rain. (Note: maybe a bit like this?) The fighting earlier was too fierce and drained up all her stamina. If Yue was not there to help, she absolutely couldn’t have made her way up to the girls’ dorm.
