Cheng Lingran looked at Jiang Xiu with doubt while that guy revealed an entirely genuine smile. His gaze was uncannily serene, so much that even he had almost believed his own words. The beauty, Cheng Lingran, naturally couldn't find a flaw in his words. She had actually asked the question without thinking it through, and right now, she was in fact very fatigued and just didn't have the energy to think about these things.

Jiang Xiu asked, "You haven't slept yet?"

Cheng Lingran slumped down on the hospital's chair. "Don't go too far. Just get cup noodles from the hospital's snack counter."
Jiang Xiu did precisely what she asked and came back after buying cup noodles from the snack counter. However, when he returned, he discovered that Cheng Lingran had fallen asleep on the seat. She was a girl who liked cleanliness, and if it weren't for being too fatigued, she would've never fallen asleep in such a dirty, germ-filled area of the hospital.
Since it would be pretty uncomfortable for her to sleep this way, Jiang Xiu sat beside her with the intentions to give her a pillow lap but wasn't expecting Cheng Lingran to wake up in vigil due to the fragrance of the noodles. "So hungry…"
She sat up, took the cup then started eating.
"You'll gain pimples if you eat noodles."
Cheng Lingsu didn't care. She ate a few bites then said eloquently, "You and your crow's beak. You're done for if I really get pimples."
"Okay!"

"Alright!"
Cheng Lingsu left the room and saw her sister and Jiang Xiu were in the middle of eating. She thought it wouldn't be appropriate to send a big shot like Jiang Xiu to go buy wine and thus planned to go buy it herself, but on second thought, she felt that even if he was terrific, he was still Uncle Jiang's son, and it was proper for a son to buy wine for the father. Cheng Lingran said, "Susu, wait a minute. It'll be inconvenient for a girl like you to go out alone so late. Little Xiu, accompany her, okay?" She glared Jiang Xiu, "Why can't I see even a little enthusiasm in your eyes?"
Though Jiang Xiu was very unwilling, he still got up obediently.
The two of them walked outside, but as the snack store didn't have wine, they had to go out to buy it from the supermarket. Jiang Xiu didn't say a word at all. He felt his head hurt when he recalled the fact that Cheng Lingsu beside him was his legal wife.
