Chapter 3.1: It's Coming
Bell Mountain was hollowed out. There was a huge space inside, filled with modern equipment which surprised hundreds of evolved people.
Teams of evolved soldiers walked past, carrying standardized steel sabers on their backs. It was as if modern times and ancient times combined to form a strange combination.
As evolved men got stronger and stronger, ordinary firearms were not as useful as evolved weapons. Plus, with many weapons depots destroyed, being able to equip standardized steel sabers has proven that the Punishment Camp was not as simple as it looked.
After Lu Yin and the rest were brought to the huge square, they were surrounded by evolved soldiers. There were even quite a few female soldiers looking at them solemnly.
Over ten meters above the plaza, there was a layer of transparent glass, inside of which was also a large space.
At this moment, a few men and women were laughing as they looked down beside a glass window.
“I wonder if we can recruit a few useful ones this time. Even if they can’t reach the Earth Realm, they shouldn’t be too weak.” A middle-aged man spoke in a muffled voice.

All of them were battalion captains with 80,000 evolved men. Only those who reached the Earth Realm could become captains, and those that did become captains--in Jinling, they were the overlords of a region only under the status of the Heaven’s Punishment Mountain.
For the millions of survivors in Jinling, the Punishment Saint was not a common sight.
“I heard that the Snow Woman under the command of Saint Luo Sheng is going to Jinling and will spar with us. Who are you planning to fight?” The charming woman suddenly asked, looking at the people beside her with a smile.
The few of them were quiet and had no intention of continuing.
The charming woman laughed. “Rumor has it that Luo Sheng declared the Snow Woman’s Earth Realm level invincible. Do you really not plan to take a look?”
The few of them still did not speak.
The charming woman pursed her lips and smiled, not saying anything more.
Luo Sheng founded the Blue Battalion. Although he was on par with the Seven Saints of the Heaven Punisher, Zhou Shan , his status was still higher than Zhou Shan.
In the eyes of outsiders, the Seven Saints were of equal status, but only a small minority knew that the Seven Saints were divided into the Upper Three Saints and the Lower Four Saints. Luo Sheng was one of the Upper Three Saints while Zhou Shan was one of the Lower Four Saints.
On the square, one evolved person after another was examined. This was mainly because of the many virus mutations that occurred after the apocalypse, especially the zombies, which were very difficult to treat. The Punishment Camp had to ensure that all the evolved people weren’t infected, otherwise, it would be very dangerous.
Soon, it was Lu Yin’s turn.
As the nurse began to fill out his personal information, Lu Yin’s eyes flashed and his body suddenly became blurry. In the next instant, he returned to normal, and no one could see clearly. Only the color of his blood changed a little as if it had a tinge of purple in it, but it quickly returned to normal.
“Is it Lu Yin? Please wait a moment, it will be ready soon.” The nurse said to Lu Yin with a smile.
Lu Yin nodded. “Thank you.” Finished speaking, he walked to the other side.
After a period of time, almost all of the 500 evolved people had been tested. There was no problem at all.
Not long after, a middle-aged man in dark military uniform walked over. As he approached, he felt a sense of pressure. All the evolved men looked at him in surprise.

The ground split open as powerful energy swept across, shocking all the evolved people.
“Earth… Earth… Earth Tremor… Earth Tremor Ranker…!” Someone exclaimed. All the evolved men looked at the middle-aged man with both fear and envy.
The middle-aged man walked more than ten meters away from Lu Yin and the rest, saying loudly, “My name is Feng Hong, commander of the Punishment Battalion. Now, I want to ask, if any of you are unwilling to join the Punishment Battalion, you can leave!”
Hundreds of evolved people looked at each other, and then people started walking out.
Although the Disciplinary Battalion was powerful, it had to be controlled. Many people had never been in the army and it was normal for them not to want to join. Lu Yin was one of them.
Nearly two hundred people, or nearly half, refused to join the camp.

Feng Hong coldly replied, “Anyone can learn as long as they are acknowledged by the Punishment Saint.”
Upon hearing these words, the evolved people who were planning to leave hesitated and returned to their original group one after another. There were less than 50 people who were intending to leave, including Lu Yin.
Feng Hong waved his hand. “Take them away.”
Soon, almost fifty evolved people were brought out of the camp.
Lu Yin turned around and saw that this place would not be peaceful for long.
There were many survivors and evolved people gathered outside of the camp. When Lu Yin and the others came out, they all gathered around. “Brother, do you want to buy a house? You can find one for a fair price.”
“Brother, do you want a tour guide? Aiyah… Don’t look at me like that, there are too many zombies and monsters outside of Jinling City. Without a guide, you will easily be surrounded.”
“Brother, do you want a weapon? A sharp blade, a hard long spear. If you want hot weapons, you can have them. Buy a few bombs to defend yourself.”
