"Special sauce, cabbage, cheese, pickle, aaaand onion!"

Surrounding Ryu Sunho, who was melodically chanting, Seo Yoon-hyung poured the sauce and Park Jitae opened the bottle of pickles. Next to them, Oh Rion stacked the ingredients in the order of Sunho's chant.

"Lee Suan, I was especially generous with the ingredients for yours!"

Park Jitae placed the top bun as he proudly remarked with a triumphant expression on his face.
Hahh… Frickin' frick…

"Let's eat, Suan. Looks good, doesn't it?"

"Hyunggg! It'll taste like Big Mxx! It looks super delicious, right?"

"Come on, hyung."

Big Mxx, more like Big Mock. Can't you guys just eat all of them by yourselves?
I glanced at the staff member who, in return, mouthed Good luck from afar.
Hahh, how could they even be this bad at cooking?

"It looks like it'd taste better if I just ate all the ingredients separately."

"What are you mumbling about? Aren't you gonna eat?"

"Huh? Hyung! It's really good!"

"Please eat."

"Suan, at least take a bite."

I reached out my trembling hand. I really didn't want to eat. I picked up a burger that looked completely normal from the outside and bit into it.

"How is it? Not bad, right?"

"Does it suit your taste, hyung?"

"Hey, it's hella good, right?"

"Hyunnng! How is it? Is it yummy?"

Ah… are your taste buds paralysed? I won't trust you guys anymore, even if you were to use a ready-made sauce. Please don't cook anymore.
I could've just eaten meat in peace…
I stared at the staff, who made me eat this compost in the name of Big Mock.

"…We made six burgers, right?"

"Yeah. We bought a bag that contained six buns, so we made six."

"We bought just as much ingredients on purpose."

"Suan-hyung, did you want more?"

"Would you like another?"

No, no. I shook my head and fixed my gaze onto the filming staff.

"That gentleman staff is working hard for us, so we should offer one to him."

"Let's do that."

"Okay."

"Do that."

"Should I go offer it to him?"

I beamed as I nodded. I wasn't about to die alone. You'll regret not letting them buy the pork belly. If you make us do another cooking mission like this, you'll have to eat with us.

The staff member, who was now pressured to eat the burger, took a bite out of good manners. The colour of his face changed real-time, and he dropped his burger on the floor before running to the bathroom. I could hear his suffering noises from behind the door as he grabbed onto the toilet bowl and gagged.

Tut tut. This is why you should've let them get the pork belly!

Unaffected by the absence of the staff, the members finished the burgers that were normal merely in appearance and began to clean up the kitchen that was messy from the cooking fiasco.

"Dear everyone who's watching this show right now: please don't try this at home."

I turned to the lone camera that was facing the kitchen and left a word of advice.

"Hyunggg, aren't you gonna eat more?"

"No, I don't feel stellar. I can hear the staff throwing up, so I don't think I'll be too comfortable eating."

I made an excuse that wouldn't hurt either party as I pushed the hamburger to one corner of the dining table. The burger lay on the plate, a single bite mark still adorning its circumference. Oh Rion asked as he wiped the sauce stains on the other side of the dining table:

"Hyung, would you like something to drink, at least?"

"Yeah, did you buy drinks as well?"

"Ah, we bought some when we got the meat. If I remember correctly, though, they were taken when they took the meat."

When I affirmed and answered Oh Rion with a question, Seo Yoon-hyung replied as he stacked the plates on one side. I was just sitting in my chair when Park Jitae pulled out the empty chair next to me and sat down.

"Lee Suan, do you want something to drink?"

"I don't absolutely need to. I was just gonna have one if we had one."

"Is that right? I was planning to go buy something for myself, anyway. While I'm ou—"

"Hyung! Should I go buy some?"

Before Park Jitae could even finish, Ryu Sunho swiftly placed the stacked plates in the sink and cut off Park Jitae's words. I'll go buy them for you, Hyung. Just tell me whatever you want, he said with a smile.

"You can just finish cleaning up. I'll go buy them, hyung."

Having wiped the sauce off the table, Oh Rion suddenly cut in and told Sunho off.

"Whyyy! I'm gonna go buy them. You clean up!"

"I was the one who mentioned drinks first, so I'll be the one to go get them."

"I was the one who said that I'll buy the drinks first, so I get to go!"

They usually get along, but fight over the weirdest little thing. They kind of look like a big dog and a big cat.

"Children, your hyung just finished cleaning the table all by himself. If you have the time to argue, you should both go and do the dishes side-by-side."

While Ryu Sunho and Oh Rion bickered in length, Seo Yoon-hyung finished cleaning up the table by himself and came over to mediate the quarrel.

"Yoon-hyung, Rion keeps, keeps—"

"Hyung, Sunho keeps whining."

"Don't cut me off!!!"

"What?"

"I was answering Yoon-hyung, and you just cut me off!"

"So?"

"You…"

Are they actually fighting? I never once saw them fight even though I lived with them for 7 years. This is troubling… what do I do? The camera's still filming.

I froze on the spot in shock, and all I could do was to roll my eyes around. Suddenly, I felt warmth stroking down my back. I flinched and turned my head to find Park Jitae, who was sitting beside me, staring straight into my eyes and mouthing something.

He seemed to have something that he wanted to say. My gaze that was directed towards his eyes moved down, and before I knew it, I was staring at his lips.

'It's alright. They're not fighting. So you don't really need to…'

I tried my best to understand what he was trying to say just by watching his lips, but I couldn't catch it all the way. Park Jitae smiled faintly as if to ask me if I had understood. He gently pat my back with the hand that he was using to stroke me before withdrawing it.

"You'd be better off stopping now, children."

"But Yoon-hyung, he started first."

"Yes. Sorry."

Seo Yoon-hyung ended the mediation by raising his fist and gently nudging Ryu Sunho's and Oh Rion's foreheads. Then, he turned to me and Park Jitae and said,

"As for Jitae, you'll find some hot chocolate mix when you open the cupboard. Could you please pour some of it in cups of milk and bring it to the living room? Suan, you can head down to the living room first. Our littlest children can do the dishes while looking back on their wrongdoings."

""Yes.""

"Okayyy…"

I nodded a little and stood up from my seat. The two youngest kids who had just been fighting turned to the sink in order to do the dishes. As they walked away, their expressions were thoroughly crumpled due to the sudden halt in their argument.

Are they gonna fight again as they do the dishes?
I continued to glance at the fixed camera.
I'm worried that there may be rumours of conflict if they don't edit that out…

Park Jitae, who had been sitting on the chair beside me, stood up as the chair dragged on the floor, producing a creaking noise. He walked towards the cupboard next to the refrigerator.

"I'll make six cups of hot chocolate."

"That would be great. Let's go to the living room, Suan."

I entered the living room with Seo Yoon-hyung, who had finished mediating the younger ones, and sat on the couch. I gazed at the bathroom door that now carried the sound of running water beyond it. It seemed that the staff member had finished throwing up.

"That was quite awkward, wasn't it, Suan? It was also my first time seeing them about to fight with their voices raised, so I was taken aback."

"Yes, I was a little surprised. I've actually never seen them fight."

"Our youngest kids look all grown-up, but they're still young students—though we're also young. They'll grow up as they fight, so let's try to be a little more understanding."

I responded to Seo Yoon-hyung with a mindless nod.

"Right, aren't they going to school starting tomorrow?"

Weren't they? I couldn't remember properly because I was a member of the same group only by name back then. I had recorded by myself, practised the choreography separately, and barely had any contact with them.

I had also used a room by myself, so we hardly ever ran into each other. Even after the debut, I was mostly active as a solo. There were no instances in which we would meet altogether other than during music programs.

After my return in time, it seemed like many circumstances had changed due to my altered behaviour. There was not a single event that I felt was similar to the past.

We had also only filmed a reality show 4 years after our debut. We never felt the need to get to know each other before the accident.

In the past, iridescent, who had debuted with the title song "Paradox", was a newbie idol group who didn't gain much attention. They never rose to the surface, and was on the brink of sinking.

The biggest reason was the lyrics and choreography that did not suit the dreamy melody. Moreover, despite being short and not particularly good-looking, I had claimed 80% of the debut song—the music program cameras didn't capture the faces of the other members who had a strong appearance game.

Back then, I appeared on many different programs alone and gained popularity. I appeared in whichever program that I was given the opportunity for, performed live, and began to stand alone.

As a natural course of action, I was the popular one in our group. In the eyes of the public, iridescent was only something that reminded them of Lee Suan. The other members were merely idols who lacked in skill.

We may have been big in appearance, but we were nothing but children. We didn't understand that we could coexist with ease. We became wrapped in a sense of inferiority. We became jealous and criticised each other.

The members in particular slowly turned into porcupines who erected their numerous quills in self-defense from the demeaning gazes of the public. We were merely childish kids who were big in size, never able to understand each other. We never even tried to get to know each other.

Yes, that was definitely how it was back then.

"School probably starts tomorrow. Rion already graduated high school by taking the qualification exam, so it's probably just Sunho who will be attending school."

"Then wouldn't it be difficult for him to attend classes properly when we're active from now on?"

"Since he's in an art school, I'd assume that our company and the school have already talked about it."

Ah, I see. Ryu Sunho attended art school.

"Is Suan worried about our younger ones?"

"No, I just asked because I was curious."

"Hnn, I see. The kids must be happy."

Seo Yoon-hyung laughed playfully and added, I'm a little jealous.
What was he even jealous about? If I were to come back in time, I would have preferred to go back to my high school days.

— clap, clap, clap!

Applause echoed in the living room. I turned towards the source of the noise to find the staff member, who had been busy puking into the toilet, clapping enthusiastically with a sunken look on his face.
