She got up from the floor and with blood red eyes looked at me as if she was going to tear me apart on the spot.
I faked a cry, quickly crawled over to Jiang Li, sat on his lap, burrowed myself deep into his arms and smiled at her.
He stroked my head and laughed. Politely, he said to Xue Hong. "Sorry. My wife is not well-disciplined and jealous."
When Xue Hong heard the words 'not well-disciplined', her expression eased slightly but on hearing 'jealous' her eyes changed back to blood red again. I could not help but sigh. Her father really had foresight in naming her Xue Hong.......which meant blood red.......
Then unable to control myself, I laughed.
She clenched her fists angrily like a violent lioness with an urgent need to kill to vent her anger.
I was scared of her and unconsciously shivered. This woman would not really hit people, right?
Jiang Li stroked my head, leisurely said to Xue Hong. "You can never beat me."
Xue Hong had not spoken at all. I sweated.
