Still unconvinced, I pressed on with my suspicion and voiced it out. “Inside….it’s okay. I know there are bricks inside, right?”
“Guan. Xiao. Yan!” Jiang Li grits his teeth spitting out those three words.
I thus thought, so what if it’s bricks? This joke, I will play along. Bringing my smile that had etched on my face, I smoothly unraveled the present.
And then, I became startled.
It was a thin white notebook laptop on the inside of the box. As if a holy beauty, lying on a large bed—please forgive my language level, analogy sentence can be used to this extent, is already my limit.
I shuddered at the white apple that had been bitten and asked excitedly, “Is this something very expensive?
Jiang Li proudly retorted. “Don’t bother with the price tag….Are you happy with it?”
