Hmmm…. is Yan Ru Yu really preparing a new novel or is he just trying to keep Lan Ning’s interest on himself, buying time to spend more time with her? He he…..
A short and interesting read ahead today.
This post is pre-scheduled. I am not sure if I would be able to find time for more post for the remaining days of this month due to crazy work schedule ahead. So, here officially announcing that this would be the last post for October. Yi Fan and Xiao Bei should be back in November and hopefully come December, Yan Ru Yu and Lan Ning will be back then. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
Chapter 30.3:
“Hmm…”
Lan Ning blinked her eyes and asked: “What type of book are you writing?”
“The style of writing may not be the same as before. You will know after I complete the writing.”
“Oh…..” Lan Ning did not ask any more. After all, the new book may not necessarily be her responsibility… and…. she did not want to experience such an unforgettable reminder.
She wash two bowls and then suddenly remembered what she was doing: “Teacher, you have not share with me where you are staying.”
Yan Ru Yu smiled, looked up and looked at her: “Why don’t you try to guess?”
Lan Ning: “………….”
Why don’t you ask me to try asking Baidu?
He wrinkled his nose and suddenly laughed.
“Why are you laughing?” Lan Ning glanced at him.
Yan Ru Yu washed his hand and touch her hair: “There are bubble on your hair.”
Lan Ning looked at the white foam on his hands. “Oh.” She then had her head buried down.
Yan Ru Yu looked at her side face, and brought more laughter. He bowed his head while washing the dishes.
Both of them put the pots and pans away after washing. Yan Ru Yu then excused himself to leave. Lan Ning stood behind the door to listen before quietly opening the door to looked outside.
She saw Yan Ru Yu entering the elevator.
“I am going out.” she said, leaving out of the door and closing the door. She took the other elevator down and then she sneaked behind Yan Ru Yu, quietly following him.
Editor had asked her to obtain Yan Ru Yu’s new address. She did not believe that she is not able to get it since he is so near.
Yan Ru Yu walked slowly. The district’s street lamp is pulling his shadow very long. Occasionally when there is a car driving past, he will stop. Lan Ning quickly hide behind the wall or street lamp.
Ah, why is it feeling so abnormal ah?
She sighed silently in heart. She saw Yan Ru Yu turning left in front of her. Lan Ning quickly catch up. Turning the corner, she is not able to see the shadow of Yan Ru Yu.
Hey, how did he go so fast? Lan Ning frowned looking around. Maybe into this apartment. She turned to the building. He is likely to be staying in this building.
So, she went to the front of the apartment. The door downstairs is closed. She tried to enter the building with her password. Really did not managed to open the door.
“Do you need me to help you?” The voice of Yan Ru Yu suddenly came from behind. Lan Ning was shocked, almost wanted to scream out.
She stiffly turned back to see Yan Ru Yu standing behind her with a faint smile looking at her.
“Ha ha…” Lan Ning laughed lightly. “I ate too much earlier. So came down to take a walk.”
Yan Ru Yu smiled, went up to enter the six digit into the keyboard lock. The door soon ‘kacha’ opened: “Do you want to come up?”
Lan Ning: “Okay….”

Yan Ru Yu head to the first apartment out of the elevator. The apartment look like Qu Tong’s apartment but the decoration style are completely different.
“Is this already renovated when you buy it?” Lan Ning asked Yan Ru Yu after circling the apartment.
“Yes, if have to wait for renovation, then have to wait for a long time. Just so happen that this is already renovated with the style I like, so I accepted it.”
“Oh….. I thought…..”
“Why?” Yan Ru Yu suddenly looked at her. There is a slight smile at the corner of his mouth. “You thought that I moved here because of you?”
Lan Ning: “………..”
