It was not creating suspicion towards their identities but the fact that under such a situation, the person-in-command would not let any player in the base who was able to fight remain.

“Mm, what? So y’all still want to laze around in here?” The Earth Manipulator was clearly a little moody from the disastrous outlook outside. Being disturbed by Feng Luo like that, he immediately replied with a grave face, and walked in.

After he turned, his nose was almost flattened as the AI door that had sprung out straight from the wall behind him has quietly been locked.
“What’s going on? Why’s the door shut?” The Earth Manipulator complained furiously; although made unhappy by Phoenix’s words, he did not probe further but impatiently pressed hard as he entered the password for opening the door.
After entering the passcode, he realized that there was no response, and the signal light showed an erroneous red.
The four people behind looked briefly and quietly, knowing that it was definitely done by Digital Cat.
The entire secret base was under AI control. It wasn’t just the surveillance system that was successfully hacked into, this was one of their backup measures discussed before.
“F*ck, what’s this? Having a problem arising now out of all times, it’s unable to open!” The Earth Manipulator tried twice consecutively, but the door was unable to be opened, making him curse and instinctively feeling like something was wrong.
“What, the door can’t be opened? How could it be, you’re doing it purposely! Doors in the game are nothing more than virtual data, how is it possible for it to breakdown out of nothing?
