Pausing for a few seconds, White shook his head, sighing as he said, “No matter what, I am very grateful for your hard work.”

on a side note, i just about had a heart attack two days ago, when i decided to copy all the remaining raws of this novel into google docs (i had copied up to chapter 50 the last time), when i discovered that the website that i had been taking the raws from had been taken down. it was a really neat website, there were no porn pop up ads; of course, they did have them in the background, but they were censored and not explicit, and did not seem like the virus type, tho you could probably still get viruses but yeah, just think like a large chinese website like the japanese dmm.com
so anyway, i opened the website from my bookmarks but it just displayed a really teeny-tiny ass notice under all the sliding images, i really didn’t notice it until my third time visiting that site in a frenzy, then when i saw it, it said : “There has been a problem with the database containing all the novels in the forum. We are trying to fix it so be patient, thank you.”
then i went from oh good its not really taken down, theres a chance it will return, to holy fuck where am i going to get the rest of the chapters for now if it never gets fixed or like what if every other novel gets restored but not this novel
then i got really desperate and i finally found another site to get the raws and i swear i spent that whole night just copying it frantically into google docs, and at the end of the novel there are extras about Taotie and his partner like woooooo we get to see the side pairing in action yay
tl;dr, i learnt my lesson on not procrastinating bc what was always there may not always be there, like asdfjsfnnsdofhfje my heart legit dropped when i couldnt see the familiar forum pages aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
