NOTE: Chapters 1 to 6 here.

Chapter 7.

“The persuasion ‘will be discussed’ with the people of our guild as the core… is it not enough?”

Obviously.

“No matter how much connections and authority your guild hold, you can’t completely control the whole town’s atmosphere, thoughts and feelings, can you?”

“That is, that is true but…”

That’s natural.
You cannot perfectly control the heart of a person.

“There are a lot of people who consider a Dungeon Master as unpleasant. Going into a town filled of people like that is similar to entering an enemy territory alone. Are you telling me to die?”

“Then, how should we do it?”

How, you ask.
Now that she said that, I’m full of ideas.

Going to the town itself is accompanied with danger.

Then what if I hide my identity?
The danger level will be too high if ever my identity is discovered.

I had other plans, but the merits and demerits of going into town is unbalanced.

Nn?
If that’s the case, isn’t it fine if I just don’t enter the town?

“Hmmm. Now that I think of it, it’s rather difficult.”

“True, I also think it’s not something easy to come up with. However, there is a ‘but’, right?”

I thought of something, but stopped myself from saying it.

“I came up with an idea.”

“Please let us hear it.”

I nodded once and told them.

“Going into the town is dangerous from the beginning so I won’t do so.”

“Shall we change the third benefit then?”

“Right. The third benefit will be changed into holding an auction in this dungeon.”

“Pardon?”

Of course that would be strange.
A dungeon owner just said “hold an auction in this dungeon”.

“I will lend you the dungeon’s second floor for the auction’s venue. Then you humans must hold the auction. ”

“Is that a merit?”

“Of course, I will participate in the auction. Do you have any questions?”

“How about the commodity restriction in the auction?”

“None. I’m just providing the place.”

“That is to say, human auction is also allowed?”

“Didn’t I already say it? I’m just the one providing the place.”

The moment I said that, the atmosphere became strained.

“It’s useless to expect conscience from you, huh?”

“You shouldn’t expect that much from a dungeon master who gets a living out of killing people.”

The adventurers near the entrance looked like they’re going to attack any moment now.

“…I understand. If possible, we would like to prevent doing human auction, but there is no way to do so.”

“If you want to prevent that, good luck to you Humans. Then, are there any other questions?”

“Let’s move on to the next question. The danger level of this dungeon’s entrance is E but it is a forest. I think escorts are necessary, how about you?”

“I won’t interfere with them. Bring along the people you want.”

“Got it. We’ll do that.”

“Other questions?”

“How much will be the holding cost?”

“There will be no holding cost. Think of the guard fees as the holding cost.”

“I see. Then lastly, when and how often should we hold the auction?”

“Do it every first Monday of the month.”

“Understood. We’ll go back and report to Guild Leader.”

The talk came to an end, and just when the adventurers were about to open the door, someone knocked.

“Enter.”

“Excuse me. Master, the lunch has been prepared.”

When the adventurers heard Eins’ words, their stomachs grumbled.
The males forced a smile while the females blushed.

“There are portions prepared for you, what will you do?”

The adventurers exchanged glances and began discussing.

Everyone nodded within a minute.
It seems like they’ve decided.

“Then we will be joining you.”

Cain took a step forward and said that, all the others also nodded.

“I see, then follow me. Eins, let’s go.”

“This way, everyone.”

With me in the lead, followed by Eins then the adventurers, we went to the dining room.

I arrived at the dining room and sat down at the head of the table, but the adventurers did not sit down.

“What are you doing? Hurry up and sit wherever you want.”

The Automata under Eins’ command pulled the chairs and prompted.

“T-thank you.”
“Thanks.”

Everyone sat down while thanking the Automata.
We finally started eating.

The Automen under Zwei’s command came in while pushing carts of dishes.
The dishes were set up, and the last dish is covered with a lid.

…Today’s meal is gyoza, fried rice and Chinese soup.
Please read the mood a little more.

“What’s this?”

“It looks incredibly delicious, but how do you eat this?”

“…?”
“It’s hot! But it’s so delicious~!”

One person ate the gyoza with bare hands, while the other five people looked at the meals and tableware in wonder.
It seems like they don’t know Chinese.

“This tableware is called chopsticks, you hold it in between like this.”

It seems like I will have to teach them while I’m eating.
