Boom! Boom! Boom!
A noisy knocking pattered on the door and made sleepy Wang Wei woke up!
"Who is there? What's up? " He first stood up in a daze, still sleepy then he glanced to the side where the alarm clock was, dizzy shouted: "What? It's just 4 o'clock, what's wrong?"
"It's your dad! Get up immediately and come with dad to slaughter chickens. If you don't show up I'm going to flay your skin off!" the father announced loudly crossing through the door, after yelling he walked heavily in thumping steps towards him.
"Get up! Quickly! Come right now!" as soon as he heard his dad yelling from the outside, he promptly hopped down from the bed. He got up slowly. The father definitely suit the action as he said, if he said to flay he will flay.
He brushed his teeth and washed his face with the fastest way, then he hurriedly sprint out from the room, while he was running he tied up the belt, in less than ten minutes he arrived to the stall.
"Quick! The clients needs urgently the merchandise, you have to delver all before 5.30 am. Go first to kill 100 chickens and 20 ducks. " As soon as he saw him arrived, the father didn't even look at the cage where the chickens were and announced glanced at him.
"Ok! I start immediately" as he finished to speak he searched and seized a kitchen knife next to the killed chicken ready to start to work. However… … … … "you accepted the F level task. Father's command: to kill 100 chickens, 20 ducks. Time of the task: 80 minutes. Recorded time started!"
He was disturbed by the voice inside of his brain, he suddenly recalled to his mind right what happened the day before. He gazed again to his father pulling off the feathers. On his head there were indeed the three words: Wang Lan Hua. But this time it's white, it wasn't red letters as yesterday.
"What are you looking at? Why aren't you damn working, yet?" the father looked at him still blanked holding a knife and without saying anything a palm of the hand slapped on his head.
"Don't slap on my head. I'm already stupid. The more you hit the more I get stupid." He pouted out those words. Though he didn't dare to slow down his duty and promptly ran towards the cage ready to catch and slaughter the chickens.
Although, he was still bewildered in his heart, surely it wasn't for the slap from his father, he already got used to it since he was a child that it didn't hurt to his skin at all. He was bewildered for what happened yesterday and right there, it was happening the hideous mess at sixes and sevens, what the hell was that?
Could it be that the 'Earth' completely changed into server? And everybody become npc? Then I become a player? And then… … … …God! Trying not to think too much, he promptly go back to slaughter first the chickens and let to reflect about it later. If he slow down the work, he won't finish before the sun rises. First he had to think about to keep on with his own life.
He immediately fished out a hen from the chickens cage. On the top of the hen there were indeed words written: 'old hen' next to 'Level 1'. Though he couldn't manage it right at that moment, he didn't care what the hell it was, first of all he must to kill them.
After all, he was like those people who play a lot of games online and occasionally reading so many of those whatsoever sort of novels, so the ability to bear the situation in heart was still much stronger than an average person. It didn’t matter, it will be just for one day.
Actually, it was very simple to slaughter chickens. He wasn't worried about the the enormous quantity of 100 chickens and 20 ducks. In fact, if he was enough fast and nimble, Wang Wei could only get done it in less than one and a half hour. Because he was provided by professional equipment, the division of labor it was explicit and they have been slaughtering for so many years, that became an usual practice, hands ability also got faster.
Although he slaughtered a lot less than his father and his mother, he was helpful to kill a few more chickens in three days, his hands skills were still quite good.
Just looking at his own hand conveniently fishing up and grabbing accurately the two wings of the old hen, he pushed over the old hen's head with the right hand and pinched with the left hand the wings. He extended right hand's three fingers to pull off the feathers from the neck a couple of times, revealing a small part of the skin. He handed up the kitchen knife in his hand and with a single blade he cut down. After that he threw straight into a small tank, and the blood didn’t even spurt out. Though the damn voice came out from his mind once again. Completely nothing made him quiet for a good while.
'You cause 5 points of damage to the old hen. The old hen has a severe condition of bleeding, losing 1 point per one second of duration until death.
As soon as he heard the voice he stopped and stuck his hands on his waist, shook his head, he took a breath, ready about to blurt out swear words though the father who was crouched on the ground lifted his head and squinting at him. He immediately gave up to his thoughts to swear and quickly grabbed another old hen from the cage and kept going to slaughter.
After he slaughtered a few hens the annoying voice sound out again.
'The old hen is dead, you gained 1 point of experience'
Seriously, he still have some fear to the voice that had just appeared a while ago, though if will come out more times he won't be fearful, it was just irritating. Though the curiosity gather together other curiosities, he didn't dare to stop when he was still live.
Every few seconds, the voice just appeared in his own mind to announce something. Hearing it for so long time, he didn't only found it curious at all but also found it amusing. He got a feeling! It was more entertaining than playing computer games online.
After he had killed more than a dozens of chickens, the chicken tank was almost full up to half. He stopped for a while, he first fished out more than 10 chickens then threw them into a large boiling water tank to scald them. After that he threw them in a chicken feather removing machine which twisted them in such way to remove almost all the feathers. Finally he fished them out and threw it on the floor and let his father and his mother to take charge of the rest of work.
Nevertheless, when he fished out the last chicken from the tank, he discovered something more amusing because he caught a few awesome things.
Coin! 1 unit of coin!
He suddenly laughed. Could it be that it was like in the legend of killing monsters? Could it be monsters killing rewarded copper coins like in the video games, while in the reality was chicken killing rewarded money coins?
He caught all the coins in the tank and counted, there were more than 20 coins, equal more than 2 bucks! Then calculating, one killed chicken could gain 2 coins? Starring at the hand full of blood-covered of more than 20 coins, he was so amused to play. Though worried he couldn't put them in the trouser's pocket because they were dirty, he wandered where he could keep them. Telling to his father will taking him as a thief stealing his money. Then, should he tell to his father that he gained the coins by killing chickens? Court death! He will take himself into the risk to be scolded. His father will believe that he got crazy by playing way too much video games.
"Hey! If I've just got a backpack, it would be perfect, just throw them right inside. Take it easy." He was thinking over his own.
Swipe! A sound like from a video game back pack opening appeared out loud from his brain and showed up in front of him, there were roughly two cubic-sized places of empty space. Wait! It appeared directly on his retina indicated over-side as 'Wang Wei storage space'
He gazed carefully up and down at the storage space, surprised. He felt more and more amusement, really it was real! All right! How to put them in? Just like the virtual games in those books? Then, did it just need to think using his mind and put them in?
Doing indeed as he thought, forcing his eyes he starred at the coin in his hand, striving with his grimaced mouth and with his head instantly led them inside to the storage space . Got in!
