 (Part 3)

Lian Hong’s return to Ciok-taijin’s house was greeted with joy but also received a strong reprimand, especially from Ciok-taijin. However, with a happy face Lian Hong said how she had managed to avenge to one of the five great enemies for her father.

“Lian Hong, listen to my words, granddaughter,” said Ciok-taijin, looking sharply, “Even though it is your duty to avenge your dad’s heartache, but it’s not worthy to you, as a noble girl and fiancee of Prince Sim’s son, go on a journey alone looking for your enemies and allowing yourself to be in deadly danger. What if you were torn down by those bad guys? And what if there is someone knowing that fiancé of Prince Sim’s son traveled alone? You just made us old people become worried and nervous, granddaughter. Isn’t the revenge of this heartache being worked on by your suhu? If necessary, I can mobilize officers to find those criminals and punish them. You don’t need to go alone like you have done.”

However, again her father’s character was evident seen in her when the girl replied, “Kong-kong, noble or ordinary girl makes no difference when traveling alone as long as she can take care of herself. With skill I have learned, what will I fear? Revenge for dad must be done by myself. You yourself have said that it has become my duty and obligation, so how can I let suhu takes back the revenge? No, kong-kong. I have to do it by myself as my devotion to the late dad who, since I was a child, had never paid his kindness back. As for my engagement with the prince’s son, I don’t care whether he or his parents will like it or not seeing me go in retaliation against the criminals. If they like, so thanks. But if not, it doesn’t matter for me because I have made the decision not to get married before I can take care of the task of retaliating for this heartache!”

“Lian Hong …!” screamed her mother.

“Mom, would you also like to see dad got killed without being able to get revenge? And also, the kang-ouw people certainly already understand that dad is Ciok-taijin’s son-in-law, and if the dad’s killers are not being punished, wouldn’t that be the same as lowering kong-kong’s name too? ”

Then when she saw how her kong-kong listened attentively, she then stepped forward and held her beloved kong-kong’s hands and said, “Kong-kong, don’t you worry. I can take care of myself, and if you agree with me, soon the four bad guys will be able to kill all by me. In addition, please don’t be restless. Besides suhu, there is a disciple of dad, named Hwe-thian Moli (Flying Female Devil) Nyo Siang Lan, has also come down the mountain and looking for those criminals!”

With these reasons, finally Lian Hong got a victory and her kong-kong while taking a deep breath said, “Never mind, just do what you want. But be careful and take good care of yourself! Also, there is one thing I ask for and hope you pay full attention, that is don’t ever the outsiders know that you are the fiancee of Prince Sim’s son. Do this to protect my good name! Will you do that, Lian Hong? ”

This girl spoiled and hugged her grandfather and expressed that she would do that.

And as previously said, a month later by disguising as a dancer, Lian Hong managed to kill Liok Kong in his own home when Toat-beng-sin-to Liok Kong was holding a party. Then after enticing Hwe-thian Moli Nyo Siang Lan to race for who the most one killing their great enemies, Lian Hong then returned to kingdom’s capital, returning to her kong-kong’s home to share the results of the revenge joyfully.

When Ciok-taijin heard that now the number of enemies that had to be avenged remaining only two more and that Hwe-thian Moli was also looking for them, his heart became somewhat relieved. He even helped his granddaughter’s business by ordering several investigating officers to search for two remained, namely Leng Kok Hosiang and Kim-gan-liong Cin Lu Ek.

Of course Lian Hong was very excited about getting help from her grandfather, but what she did not know was that his grandfather secretly ordered the investigators, if they succeeded to find those two, to arrest or kill them, and if necessary, to ask for help from the local authorities. For this he gave them a warrant-letter.

We followed Hwe-thian Moli Nyo Siang Lan’s journey again, the mighty girl who had bravely screwed up at Liok Kong’s party and her swordman-stances even managed to defeat Lian Hong.

Since separating from Lian Hong, this girl still felt amazed and ashtonished at the beautiful dancing girl. How could her suhu have a daughter with the same age of her but never told her? Who was his real wife and where did she live?

She was disappointed that Lian Hong also did not want to share her situation and in fact she was eager to get to know her sumoi. She was very impressed with Lian Hong’s cleverness in playing her swordman-stance, and she had no doubt that the swordsman-stance learned by Lian Hong was Liong-cu kiam-hwat’s swordsman-stance which she knew well, only still lacking maturity and mixed with other swordsman-stance. However, the shawl martial-art played by the dancer girl were really great.

She smiled to herself recalling Lian Hong’s dexterity and cuteness, and she could guess that the dancer girl was lying and deliberately played her confessing that she had the nickname of Hwe-thian Sianli (Flying Goddess).

Since going down from the mountain looking for enemies who had killed her suhu, she had experienced many great incidents. The first person she could find his existence was Santung taihiap Siong Tat (Great Warrior from Santung).

She heard the news that Siong Tat had managed to live in the City of Kang-leng, southern area of the Cin Capital. She quickly pursued to Kang-leng and it was easy to get the address of Santung taihiap Siong Tat because even this person of she-Siong had also become a great tycoon who opened the biggest pawnshop in the City of Kang-leng.

When she was about to enter the city and be on a quiet road, suddenly she saw an old man climbing a tree crying. The person’s hand carried a rope. This man’s movement was very suspicious of her heart, so secretly while hiding, this girl then lurked.

It turned out that the old man then tied the rope he carried to a tree’s branch, wanting to hang himself. Seeing this, of course Siang Lan became very surprised. She wondered why there was such a desperate person who made a stupid decision.

The old man had made the tip of the rope as the neck bond, wrapped it around his neck, and prepared to jump down. But what a surprise, suddenly the rope hung on the branch became broken without he knowing why.
