Part 2

At that time, the rebel leader sent him as a messenger facing the emperor city and submitting a declaration of conquering on condition that the emperor would free and unrestrick the movements of Pek-lian-kauw and Ngo-lian-kauw. And also that the emperor would give the initial positions to all ex-rebel soldiers.

The next day early in the morning, Leng Kok Hosiang had left Gan-siupi’s house building to face the emperor. He didn’t think that Lian Hong was so brave enough to be in her room again, inside the Gan-siupi’s. Indeed this girl after separating from Tek Kun, immediately quietly returned to Gan-siupi’s house building and entered the courtyard from behind, i.e from the flower garden.

Some guards actually saw her. But by reason of looking for the wind, this girl could return to her room without any disturbance. Even though it was a bit odd hearing the reason in the middle of the night, however how did low-ranking guards dare to be much talking to Ciok-taijin’s granddaughter?

Secretly Lian Hong urged Gan-siocia to tell about the monk guest. Finally knew she that next morning Leng Kok Hosiang was about to go to the emperor. After that, he would immediately return to his place without stopping by the Gan-siupi’s house building anymore. She then quickly drove her train out of the building, going to her grandfather’s house.

Just as the train came out of the courtyard of the building, she saw Siang Lan standing and looking sharply at the train. Lian Hong smiled amusedly, and quickly she opened the cloth curtain covering it, gestured her finger to Siang Lan. Siang Lan smiled as well and after seeing there was noone watching her, she then jumped like a flash of lightning and suddenly entered the train.

This incident happened so quickly that the train driver didn’t know that nor feel something. “Bad girl!” Exclaimed Siang Lan slowly after she was on the train and sat facing Lian Hong. “Why are you acting such this weird?” She looked at Lian Hong’s clothes in amazement. “Actually, are you a princess? Surprise me thought why suhu’s daughter is a princess like you!”

Lian Hong put index finger on her mouth. “Hush, don’t talk too loud, enci Siang Lan. If driver hear that, it can be a mess!"

Siang Lan held Lian Hong’s hands and whispered. “Little sister Lian Hong, hurry up and tell me, what does this mean? I just saw Leng Kok Hosiang leaving Gan-siupi’s house building where you spent the night.” And then said. “I was about to intervene, but seeing the bald bast*rd walking with some royal officers, I became hesitant, let alone remembering that you were in the same building. How is this? Why could you be at the same building with our great enemy?”

Lian Hong then said earnestly. “Enci Lan. You didn’t know that last night I fought him, but I couldn’t beat him even though getting help by … Kun-lun Siauwhiap. We may not intervene in kingdom’s capital. Too dangerous. Know that he’s a messenger of Pek-lian-kauw rebel who must face the emperor. Everyone maynot disturb any messengers. You better wait outside the city, in the south. If the monk comes out, well, we intervene!”

Siang Lan frowned, a sign that she couldn’t wait too long. “You can wait until he goes out of the city, but I will attack him as soon as he leaves the emperor’s palace. We’ll just see, who’ll succeed first!” After saying that, Siang Lan opened the curtain, waiting for the opportunity untill the train arrived on a rather quiet road, she then jumped out.

Nobody knew, that Leng Kok Hosiang wasn’t coming alone. A group of Pek-lian-kauw figures had come later. And according to the plan, they’d been hiding outside the city, waiting for results of Leng Kok Hosiang facing the emperor. The group consisted of seven Pek-lian-kauw leaders who were highly skilled, averaging at the level skill of Leng Kok Hosiang.

They’d agreed that if it failed, the seven plus the monk would cause riots in kingdom’s capital. They would invade the city and kill some nobles to disrupt the situation to show their power. However on the contrary the eight never dreamed that Ouwyang Sianjin had long supervised and followed their plans!

This old man had long been looking for Leng Kok Hosiang’s trace to help his disciple to get revenge. But after finding out where the monk was, he was surprised to see the gang’s plans. He felt more important to thwart their efforts than taking revenge. Understood he that if he intervened, he wouldn’t be able to beat the eight. So after their intention visiting the kingdom’s capital was clear for him, he then preceded them and directly faced Commander Kui who held the highest authority as the protector of kingdom’s capital.
