Part 1

TEK KUN was about to pursue but could not find the girl as her movement was so fast and so agile. Tek Kun regretted so much. He had met a girl who had won his heart during at first meeting. He had fallen in love and secretly admitted that he was very interested in Hwe-thian Sianli. But now the girl had left without telling her name and residence. Long time he just stood dazed at the place with a very disappointed heart. Then he walked slowly to go home, the house of Prince Sim Liok Ong.

Tek Kun didn’t thought as meeting Lian Hong, there was someone lurking and hearing their conversation. This person was Hwe-thian Moli Nyo Siang Lan.

As told before, after meeting Lian Hong and tempting the dancer girl, Siang Lan felt astonished. She felt sure that the girl was definitely Lian Hong, the daughter of her suhu. However, as clear that the girl didn’t want to introduce herself in the public, she also didn’t want to force her and continued in search of Leng Kok Hosiang. Nobody knew where the monk she was looking for, so forcedly Siang Lan had to wait untill night.

She then put on her brief clothes and began investigating. Until midnight, she hadn’t succeeded finding her great enemy. Indeed it wasn’t easy to find someone in such big kingdom’s capital. Then she saw the shadows of Lian Hong and Tek Kun. She became astonished knowing the shadows of these two people, so she quietly followed them and lurked. She didn’t see the monk had come down and reentered the Gan-siupi’s house building.

When she saw the attitude of the two as talking, her heart felt very bad. The young man’s attitude seemed clear to her that the young man she admired turned out to be interested in Lian Hong. This was easy to see from her hiding place.

Especially as he expressed his desire to get acquainted with Lian Hong but the girl left, he then looked disappointed, sad, and daydreaming. Then, unconsciously when Tek Kun left from there, Siang Lan quietly followed him. She extremely wondered seeing the young man headed for a very large, luxurious house building. The more wondered she became as the guards at gate of the house rebuked him with a very respectful attitude.

“Sim-kongcu, where do you come from, so that after midnight you just come home?”

“Don’t talk too much!” The young man snapped and continued entering his own house. Siang Lan stood dumb in his hiding place and didn’t understand the more as seeing the guards laughing and whispering. “Ah, why is kongcu so fierce like that? Maybe his heart is upsetting by something!”

“Kongsu’s indeed strange. Go away for months, without knowing to be enganged to a beautiful princess, he still liked to go far for a long time, and now go home at midnight. Usually young people just feel annoyed and upset when they’re tempted by women.”

Siang Lan felt as if she was dreaming. This noon she saw Lian Hong boarding a train and dressed like a noble princess. And now she saw Tek Kun, a mighty young man who attracted her heart and thought as an ordinary kang-ouw young man turned out to be the son of a great nobleman who owned a house building of this great size?

Meanwhile, the guards and also by Gan-siupi himself asked Leng Kok Hosiang. But he didn’t admit that the one who had fought him was Pat-jiu kiam-ong’s daughter or Ciok-taijin’s granddaughter. “Ah, they were only two people who seemed wanting to steal.” He said with still numb-hearted.

He was about to take care of his business so he could immediately leave the unsafe place. He understood that the skill of Pat-jiu Kiam-ong’s daughter was very good, as good as Hwe-thian Moli’s. If the two girls came forward in unison to attack him, he would woe. Especially if the Kunlun-pai youth helped them as well.

Leng Kok Hosiang was indeed an messenger of the rebel mob from the south which consisted of royal-army soldiers who were dissatisfied with the emperor’s government. It was difficult for the kingdom to suppress this rebellion because there were kang-ouw people assisting them by such as Leng Kok Hosiang.

Even some dark associations had helped them, including the religious associations of Pek-lian-kauw and Ngo-lian-kauw which had a lot of skilled people. These two religious associations, especially Pek-lian-kauw, were very influential, gradually taking control or becoming the leader of the rebels so that they were now a religion rebellion of Pek-lian-kauw which Leng Kok Hosiang entered as many of his friends became leaders of Pek-lian-kauw and he could live luxuriously, happily and get strong, good protection.
