Chapter 12.2As if remembering the past, Dong Fang Qing Cang's gaze was even colder. He waved his hands, and the raging flames were like a net that captured the white shadow tightly, but within a moment's time, the white shadow escaped from the fire net. The white energy congregated into a sword and pierced in the direction of Dong Fang Qing Cang. The raging flames in his hand rose and transformed into a sword to block it. The two swords clashed but no sounds were heard of the weapons clashing. Yet, it has caused the energy within the cave to go berserk and the stones collapsed incessantly while the ground trembled.
Within the chaos, Little Orchid crawled past Dong Fang Qing Cang's feet and after that, stood up and ran crazily. Whenever there was a body seen, [she] would charged toward it, but would fail.
Right now she does not dare to stop. If at the time they were still battling one another and she has not found Dong Fang Qing Cang [his actual body], then she only has one way and that's death!
Little Orchid thrust and slammed within the chaotic and collapsing cave like a headless fly, but through the endless searching there was no result. She was tired to the point of being out of breath and turned around. Dong Fang Qing Cang was still battling against Shuo Feng sword soul endlessly, but the position of Dong Fang Qing Cang continued to change; he would battle and then retreat, going toward a certain direction.
Battling while retreating? Little Orchid felt that was not the style of Dong Fang Qing Cang. She looked at the direction he was retreating to and many "Dong Fang Qing Cangs" were standing there.
Little Orchid secretly calculated, and gritted her teeth. In the end will be death, thus let's carry this hope into action and die anyway! She squeezed her fist, and plunged toward that direction. When she ran past Dong Fang Qing Cang, he concentrated and threw a flame toward Little Orchid. She could not avoid in time and her whole body was a raging inferno. Dong Fang Qing Cang saw such and paid no attention to her.
He knew that this little flower demon for sure will die.
The raging flames felt as if they wanted to rip apart her body. Little Orchid knew that she cannot endure much longer, but right now in front of her there were three bodies. Within Little Orchid's eyes, all three bodies looked exactly the same with one another. There was not enough time to try all three; thus, let's go with intuition!
She gritted her teeth, poured all her final strength, and charged toward the body closest to Dong Fang Qing Cang [the one battling the Shuo Feng sword].
Dong Fang Qing Cang turned the corner of his eyes, and saw that the soul wrapped in burning flames was holding back tears and charging toward the body behind him.
How could this be… The soul of a flower demon with puny cultivation/power that can withstand so long in his flames like this…
Not waiting for Dong Fang Qing Cang to sign with defeat, the body behind him began to become soft.
The blood-shot colored pupils became large as the eyes opened, and the silver hair scattered loosely to the ground. Little Orchid raised the left hand to look, and then raised the right hand to look. She happily smiled, and after that pouted to cry, "Living amicably is not easy, really not easy…" She did not care whether Dong Fang Qing Cang was battling with Shuo Feng sword soul, and like so curled oneself to hug the knees and wailed loudly.
Hearing such repeatedly loud weeping, Dong Fang Qing Cang's face paled, and looked at Shuo Feng sword soul in the front. Shuo Feng was scared, and was not able to recovered as the fiery sword sliced down on him. He cried in pain, dispersed into white energy, and immediately retreated into the [actual] frozen sword.
Not battling anymore, the energy within the cave slowly stabilized. Dong Fang Qing Cang withdrew the sword, stood in front his body that at this time, there was a someone else residing in it.
Dong Fang Qing Cang coldly looked at her.
"You who deserve to die, is extremely evil, cruel, heartless, and inconsiderate; I don't want to reside together with you anymore!" Little Orchid ,who was still anguishing in pain of almost being burnt to death, was filled with incomparably deep anger and rage for Dong Fang Qing Cang.
Dong Fang Qing Cang quietly looked at Little Orchid for a while. As if finally accepting one's fateful misfortunes, he sighed helplessly in a rare sight.
Helplessly?
Yes ah, helplessly…
As if at the very last moment Dong Fang Qing Cang was losing his fighting spirit, he kicked Little Orchid's feet, and his voice lessen several bits of being his usual imposing self, "Stand up, let me in."
Little Orchid paid no attention to him, scooted her bottom (on the ground) back. Finally, following the movements of Little Orchid, he bent down, and prepared to jump into the body.
Little Orchid suddenly lifted her head, and saw the face of Dong Fang Qing Cang getting close within a narrow distance. His face pushed onto her face, the two noses touched, and after such interaction, pain rose, and the body became crowded.
Little Orchid resentfully whispered, "When will this farce end?!"
This here was a normal appearance of theirs…
The feeling of helplessness within Dong Fang Qing Cang became even heavier for several layers.
