"Enough is enough! You're well-known for your protection of your grandson in the Qingyun Empire! He would stay a perfect role model in your eyes even if he raped, robbed, or even killed! Don't even think of duping me! I can tell!"

In a bid to prevent her insulting Yaoting, Xu Wenchuan took a bold move to confront her.
"Your grandson had turned a new leaf? You kidding with me? Nobody is gonna buy it! Xu Wenchuan, to tell the truth, I have long had my heart set on his death since he started to mess with my granddaughter. I would have killed him if I hadn't given consideration to you. But he went on persisting in his old manner and made Yuecui risk her life today. I won't let him get away with it anymore."

Leng Yuecui tried her best to persuade her grandma to stop making trouble, but her efforts all ended in vain.

That was way too out of the line.

Women, according to an old-saying, were more intuitive. Leng Yuecui kinda figured it out — Wandong had every reason to keep his composure, as Leng Shuangrong was actually insulting Xu Yaoting, who was nothing but Wandong's physical appearance now.
Having been taking advantage of Xu Yaoting's body, Wandong was supposed to take the blame. In that case, whatever Leng Shuangrong said, be it mean, hurtful, or mistaken, became out-and-out pointless to him.

For Leng Shuangrong's part, she thought otherwise. She had long seen it coming as Wandong, in her eyes, appeared nothing but a useless fellow with hopeless impudence.
