As the underlings came near, shaking with terror, Wandong cast a sidelong glance and commanded, "Pass your swords to me."

"Swords? Oh, yes, yes. Here you are, Esteemed Childe Xu," An underling responded and presented his sword to Wandong hastily, with compliment and fear filling his countenance.

Wandong took his sword and tested its blade gently with his fingers. Then a wave of buzz went off accordingly forthwith ―  the sound signaled the unparalleled sharpness of the sword. Wandong looked over at the badly injured student and asked the underlings in an absent-minded manner, "Is there any animosity between you and him?"

"That..." They stammered and turned over and set eyes at Jin Mu in spite of themselves simultaneously.

Right then, Jin Mu turned livid with rage, his veins popping up on his forehead. Ever since Wandong's arrival, Wandong hadn't taken any notice of him as if he were as invisible as air except a glance at him in the beginning. Jin Mu had never been ignored by anyone like this through his life. It was worth noting that even Xiu Sheng, a dignitary of the Qingyun Empire had to greet him with smiles, a cold-shoulder would never have happened in the way Xiu treated him.

"Can't you see Child Xu was having an inquiry? Just answer him as it was. Why the stare?" Jin Mu shouted and threw a glare back at them.

On hearing that, the underlings summoned up their courage. One of them responded, "Referring back to Childe Xu's inquiry, this obtrusive bastard bumped into Childe Jin for no reason. Hence we taught him a lesson."

Wandong nodded and gently stroked the sword. He appeared rather poised as if he hadn't been provoked at all. Nevertheless, his looks only intensified the underlings' sense of terror. They started trembling ceaselessly as if they got struck by a lightning.

"Tell me, who is the nobler one? Childe Jin of the Tiezhan Empire or me, the only grandson of the Duke of Dingshan?" Wandong asked.

On hearing that question, the underlings were all covered in a cold sweat. The comparison of both childes in terms of their aristocracy was never something for them to decide, for they dared not offend either of them. And it was also the case with their own master Xiu Sheng. Wandong's question was, in essence, an invitation from Death. Then would end up dead anyway, be their answer yes or no.

The underlings looked at each other, and none of them dared stand out and give an answer. Wandong' sword was giving off cold and lethal sparkles, while Jin Mu's face was overcast with deadly venom ― neither of them would let them walk away alive if offended.

"You even dare to overlook my question?" Wandong asked he put on a cold and serious look abruptly. In the meantime, the blade of his sword instantaneously landed on the neck of one underling.

Having long been trembling, the underling could no longer take the lethal shock. He flopped onto the floor, kneeling to Wandong. Then a wave of gurgling went off ― he burst into pee out of fear.

"In...In the eyes of us underlings, both...both childes were equally...equally distinguished. It's impossible for us to tell who is nobler..."

Wandong withdrew the sword and said with an emotionless grin, "It was unexpected you are such a smooth character. You offended neither of us."

"Childe Xu, haven't you enjoyed it enough?" Wandong cut in in an impatient tone. He couldn't bear the sight of Wandong riding the high horse.

"In broad daylight, did I hear a dog bark?" Wandong feinted to talk to himself. However, he stressed each syllable so much that all people present heard him clearly.

Seeing Wandong looking around and attempting to search the "dog", Leng Yuecui burst out laughing lightly in spite of herself. However, Jin Mu's blood went all up, his eyeballs almost jumping out of his eye sockets.

"Xu Yaoting, don't refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit (An old Chinese saying which means a person is made to submit to some else's pressure after first turning down his request)! Don't do as you please just because you are the grandson of the Duke of Dingshan. Bear it in mind, his identity only works within the scope of the Qingyun Empire!" Jin Mu shouted.

Wandong let out a grin as his response. Then he looked over at the underlings and asked, "Do you think so? Otherwise, you wouldn't have come up with the trashy idea of turning to people of the Tiezhan Empire for help to avenge your young master. Heh...My grandfather is indeed not the Duke of Dingshan of the Tiezhan Empire. However, putting down a couple of dogs of your country is merely a cinch."
