Lei growled as he jumped up and leaped over to the One-eyed Giant, which was raising a big tree trunk as a stick. He landed on the tree, walked along the tree trunk, and dashed over its head. In the end, a sword light flashed.

Taking the advantage when both sides were fighting, he had raided the God Shrine of the God of Hunting and Massacre, wanting to steal a crystal hidden there.
That crystal contained a thread of God Power left behind by the Life Goddess. If one had it and carefully studied it, then he would probably comprehend this "Life" clergy and build a solid foundation to enter the Semi-God’s realm. If one was lucky enough, he would even have reached Heaven with one step, getting the Life clergy, and becoming an Immortal God.
Lei’s raid didn’t fully achieve his goal. The high-ups in the God Shrine indeed lived up to their title as subordinates of the "Ruthless Hunter".
