In the dense forest, many different noises came up ceaselessly.

A moment ago was the sound of broken trees. Then in the next moment was the sound of metal clashing. And then in the next moment was the ‘bang bang’ sound of collision. After that was the splashing sound of water.

Under the dim light, one big and two small silhouettes were beating each other intensely.

The big one was naturally that frightening giant serpent. The smaller ones were obviously Lei and Stelle.

The main fighter was Lei, Stelle just assisted.

When Stelle could sense some fighting was happening in the dense forest, she had immediately run back. She tried to help but she had soon discovered that with her martial art, she couldn’t be only unable to do something to help Lei to fight the giant serpent, but also hindered him.

Therefore, she stepped back, maintained a safe distance, and used her innate magic-casting ability to support.

As she had gone through the transformation into a Semi Holy Spirit, she was able to display some innate magic abilities. Although the magic could not launch many direct attacks, it could be a great help to support----speaking of which, what Stelle also needed right now was the magic support.

After getting Stelle’s magic support, Lei’s spirit rose up, his fighting force also soared. He refused the suggestion "Let me help you" of Sui Xiong who had been woken up. His pike and sword turned into two groups of white beams, fighting with the giant serpent to determine who was stronger.

As time slowly passed by, Lei gradually took the upper hand.

He discovered although the build and strength of this giant serpent were frighteningly enormous, and its defensive force was also extraordinary, its intelligence was not high.

Low intelligence meant clumsy fighting technique. Thanks to Lei’s abundant accumulated experience from being a veteran of a hundred battles, he slowly grasped the fighting habit of this giant serpent. After he had taken a complete control over the fighting "pattern", the outcome of this fight was also not nerve-wrecking.

Of course, even if it was like this, wanting to block an attack from a giant serpent was a really difficult thing. After half a day of intense fighting, it was almost noon, Lei finally took down the giant serpent.

Following a groan, the huge body of the giant serpent was paralyzed on the ground, and eventually motionless. At this point, Lei’s muscles were weary, his power was exhausted as well. He could not stand still at all. Even the magic assistant Stelle beside him was also strained out, powerlessly flapped her wings, didn’t even have strength to fly.

"It’s been hard for both of you." Sui Xiong cast magic, froze both the giant serpent’s corpse and its blood, tried to preserve these precious materials----that was the hard work of both Lei and Stelle. It was almost noon when they obtained the spoil, whose value was undetermined, but it was for sure very rare.

"How do we deal with this thing?" He asked, "Should I open a storage space in case we will slip it when arriving in the Mystique Tower Federation?"

"It’s up to you." Lei exhaustedly said, "I want to find a place to camp first. I feel like my bones are falling apart right now."

"So do I." Stelle took a short break, panted, then finally recovered her strength a little bit, flapped her wings, flying up, "If we go a bit further, there is a rock mountain. Although it is not high, it may be completely bare without grass, it doesn’t have any ferocious beasts occupancy. To us, it is the best place to camp."

When hearing that there was a solid ground to sleep on, Lei, who was originally worn out, instantly regained his spirit, held his pike as a walking stick to staggeringly climb up another floating disk---this floating disk was used by Sui Xiong to check his magic duration. Due to the fact it was placed quite far away, the result of his test was not ruined during the fight. At this moment, it just timely came in handy.

"It’s nice to have a rest!" Stelle lamented, flew in the sky in an exasperatingly slow speed ahead to lead the way.

Luckily, the actual distance was not that far. In probably ten minutes, they had reached that barren rock mountain.

The stone of this mountain was pretty solid. The top of the mountain was on the other hand flat and smooth, which was not bad for camping. However, with everyone’s condition right now, it was really inappropriate to stay in the wilderness. Therefore, Sui Xiong stopped to look through the materials and found a "Protection Shelter" magic that travelers commonly used, then launched it.

The Protection Shelter magic could make a small cottage, with bed, stove, and some washing necessities. To a traveler who was always on the go, this magic was indeed a greatly convenient medium.

But the shortcoming of this magic was also very obvious. First, it was a fictional object. In that bedroom, one could also not get the true "full rest". Cause it isolated an area, where there was no way to pray effectively. This meant no matter it was a shaman or a priest, they could not recover their magic-casting abilities in this small cottage which was built by the Protection Shelter magic.

If other problems were minor, then there was another major problem.

When staying in this small cottage, one could not be able to see the situation outside.

Moreover.... the rooms in this cottage didn’t look pretty stable. Excepting for blocking rain and wind, it basically didn’t have much defending force. A few wild wolves could be able to crush it.

What did this mean? Carrying the meaning of protection, but this small room was not much different from completely defenseless!

What was the difference between death and taking rest in a defenseless room in a wilderness!

Therefore, unless it was the last resort, the adventurers would not use this magic to help them rest. Even if they reluctantly used it, they would arrange some people to take turns watching outside, to avoid monsters or enemies catching a turtle in a jar and dying because of carelessness.

Of course, there would be some advanced magic to solve these problems. For example, there was another one name "Holy Residence", which could immediately create a space with defending power as well as build a praying stone house in that.

But the ones possessing that magic were those Gods with "Traveler" clergy. Except for the priests, who had been authorized by their Gods, even Sui Xiong also couldn’t use it.

There was another magic from the shamans named "Shaman Villa", which provided not only high-end lodging, but also some devil guards who were in charge of protection, even maidens were available inside.

But that magic was utterly secretive. Even the God of Salvation didn’t know its existence, not to mention its principle. Perhaps in the main surface, there was basically no one knew how to display it...

"Tonight, I’ll be guarding. You both should get some good sleep." Sui Xiong said to Lei and Stelle, who had not recovered their minds yet until now, "just relax and sleep. I am here."

Having a great God guarding at night was extremely safe for sure. Although Lei and Stelle were a little bit awkward and sorry, due to their exhaustions, they accepted his good intentions and got into the cottage.

Both did a little bit wash-up, had a full meal, then fell onto the bed and slept soundly.

Today they were really deadly exhausted.

As Sui Xiong guarded outside, his body slightly shook, turned into a giant jellyfish which was bigger than the protection cottage, standing in the mid-air, alertly watching around.

He relaxed his posture a little bit, stretched out to all directions. In the darkness, the only thing he could hear was the wildly running sounds. Countless monsters, big and small, were running and flying for life. None of them dared to stop nearby.

After chasing away those creatures, which would possibly be a threat to Lei and Stelle, he was at ease, and once again indulged in researching.

The object of his research this time was the giant serpent.

This snake’s intelligence was not high. It also didn’t have any magic ability. It seemed like any ordinary low-level venomous snake. But how could it be long like this. This was really hard for people to understand.

Being long and big like that, exactly how long it would live?

All the living creatures in this mundane world had life expectancies, snake was not an exception either. This world seemed to have no kind of legends about "Demon transformation". As long as one could strongly live through the days, that one was gifted with superior bloodline.

But this snake was not strong enough. Its bloodline didn’t seem superior as well. Then what was its secret of longevity?

Sui Xiong was extremely curious about this.

He was also not a heartless master. To the construction of the church and the Holy Land, he also wanted to give some force---Believers were taxing their mind and body while God just lives on the fat of a land. He strongly disagreed with this kind of tradition.

After some consideration, he felt that as a highly intellectual person, he should have contributed some help by his intelligence, not power. It was just that... as for what on earth contributing by the intelligence was, he temporarily had no clue about it.

Since the Holy Land construction would take place in the biting cold north area, although only relying on his strength could help with cultivating the farmland, it was still self-sufficiency. Hoping to sell the surplus of the food was unrealistic. Mining, logging, stone exploiting. Making his believers do these things in a country that water had frozen into ice to make a living was a little bit too brutal. As for all kinds of manufacturing careers, due to the inconvenient traffic, there was no possibility in choosing this kind of career to become rich. As for the service industry... Ha ha... Ha ha ha... Please find another boring joke instead!

Wanting to arrange the Holy Land some careers for the lives of his believers, and saving some money for the business development of the church, he needed to pay attention to these points: first, the career would not involve working outside. Or else there would be people dying from the coldness. Secondly, the career didn’t require too many good materials. Even though it was from collecting, it was still buying, which was not trustworthy. Third, the career would get the best result if it was unique. Others could not counterfeit no matter how hard they tried. He just temporarily thought of those things. He would add the rest.

Merely these three things had already made him gloomy, couldn’t think of any other reliable idea. Even though his capability was powerful, the majority in his head was from the information of the Gods, with some scientific and technological knowledge from the thriving world, thinking of using these things to find a suitable career was still too hard!

Anyway--- before jumping space, he was a student majored in painting, not those kinds of materials about manufacturing, all the machines, blueprint, as well as all kinds of Gods, and technology!

But right now, he’d got a feeling.

Speaking of the thing that wealthy people welcoming, "Healthy and longevity" was no doubt. In this world, although there was a situation, which one might enter the God Kingdom after dying, the door to enter to the God Kingdom was indeed too far. The majority of wealthy people would not also be willing to go to their God Kingdom. But if letting them die with the poor like this, and obediently enter the underworld, no matter what, they absolutely weren’t contented.

Therefore, in such a circumstance, if he could manufacture some kinds of drugs that could prolong the longevity with the least side effect, he would absolutely earn big. Not to mention raising his believers, even if he had to raise all the influences in the churches in the entire mainland, it would be also no problem for sure!

But the hope of making that drug laid on this dead giant serpent...
