 Chapter 102 - Hidden Danger

Feng San came next to the hospital bed and held his apocalypse watch in front of Feng Wu.

"Its him!"

Feng Wu looked at the person in the picture and recognized him. The person before him was one that he and Feng Shi had encountered in Nanshan base when they got into a car accident. Afterwards they had seen him again in the fight against Zhanlang base.

The most important point was that this was the same person that Feng Shi said attacked him, the same person that they had encountered at Nanshan base.

The only issue was that Feng Wu knew that that person was only a fourth class cultivator at the time. Feng Wu didn't expect for that fourth class cultivator to have broken through to the fifth class in a few days.

"It turned out to be him!"

Feng Shi was leaning over very far to see the picture as well, but when he saw the picture he jerked up too fast and reopened his wound. He grimaced, but that was irrelevant as he was too busy spitting his words.

Feng Shi had seen the same person who had shot him with the crossbow in the Tianheng mountains. Although the picture was small Feng Shi could still recognize him. No one had injured him so badly since the dawning of the apocalypse.

"Old Four, you know this guy?"

From Feng Shi's tone, they knew that he must know the person in the picture and that their relationship wasn't simple.

Feng Yi and Feng Er were watching Feng Shi's facial expressions along with the others.

"Yeah I know him, I know him very well. This boy was the one that shot me, I have to peel his skin for that. "

They watched as Feng Shi clenched his teeth and the veins on his neck bulged.

If it wasn't for this boy, Feng Shi wouldn't have gotten injured and become a laughingstock. An honorable seventh class cultivator that happened to be injured by a fifth class cultivator. Even though his opponent had a high class weapon, being injured had been spread throughout the base, allowing for Feng Shi to be ridiculed.

Feng Shi hated this person down to the bones and he swore that if he ever encountered this person again that he would keep him alive but wishing he was dead.

"Fourth bro, you have to remember that this guy still gave up the thing that Fifth bro needed to survive."

Roughly understanding the situation, Feng San tried to appease Feng Shi.

"I don't care. Concerning this matter, I must kill that boy!"

Laying his head on his pillow Feng Shi spoke bitterly.

Lin Feng woke up the next morning after a long night's sleep. They had all rushed about yesterday, so Lin Feng had slept earlier than usual.

Without waking the others, Lin Feng went out of his room to the front door. Quietly opening the door, Lin Feng left the house.

The early morning air felt nice. Qian Zongguan's house was located right next to the road, making it easy to access the road. Lin Feng got to the road and started to jog.

Although cultivators were the same as humans and didn't require exercise, Lin Feng liked to breath in the morning air. The air of this world was much cleaner compared to the previous world even though it was the apocalypse. Without the large scale factories of the previous world, the air here was at least ten times cleaner.

Along Bei Er road (N 2nd St ) were a lot of different shops, but because it was early many of them weren't open.

Lin Feng slowed down and he jogged in front of a store selling breakfast.

The people who owned the shop was a couple that appeared in their thirties. They were busy preparing breakfast. They steamed dumplings above a fireplace and Lin Feng watched the dumplings give off some wafts of steam.

Finding a place to sit down, Lin Feng ordered a tray of steamed dumplings. The stuffing of these dumplings was only vegetables as meat dumplings were an absolute luxury. Common breakfast stores couldn't sell these dumplings as they would lose too much if the dumplings weren't sold.

A tray of steamed vegetable dumplings cost a single white crystal which was a reasonable price. The only shortcoming was that there was no sauce to dip the dumplings in, as that kind of thing was also an expensive luxury.

The flavor of the dumplings was good and Lin Feng ate two trays of dumplings before he put down his chopsticks. Although the shop was small, the flavor was good. As he ate the dumplings Lin Feng chatted with the couple and learned that before the dawning of the apocalypse they had opened this steamed dumpling shop.

When the apocalypse rain had fallen they were lucky enough to be under shelter already. The small amount of food that they still had in the store became like gold when the apocalypse had dawned. They had to close their shop for a few days until the wall had been built and guards placed to protect the base. But after that they were able to smoothly operate their shop until now.

Finishing the steamed dumplings, Lin Feng paid the couple his dues and gave them extra to deliver some dumplings to Qian Zongguan's house. The house wasn't far away and the couple was glad to have the extra business.

Lin Feng left after saying goodbye to the couple. He was back on the street and saw that more of the shops had opened their doors and that vehicles were starting to fill the center of the street.

A million people was enough to make an entire city in Lin Feng's old world. Here Lin Feng saw a variety of different shops line the streets. Many of them were restaurants, but few ate at restaurants for breakfast.

Other than the restaurants there were other kinds of shops along the street. Since the dawn of the apocalypse, many of the shops that were opened were run by individuals. The supermarkets of old were a very rare sight to see.

The problem was that it wasn't easy to maintain a large market. In the apocalypse it wasn't easy to interact with other people. Furthermore, most of the supermarkets were filled with people that had then become zombies, destroying most of the supermarkets altogether. Rebuilding a large store like that would take too many resources and be impractical in the apocalypse.

The small shops hadn't been badly damaged and didn't take much to rebuild, so after the dawn of the apocalypse the land took on this appearance of many small shops along the streets.

It was still early as Lin Feng walked along the road. He seemed to be moving aimlessly, but Lin Feng was looking for a suitable building.

Although it was still premature to open a supermarket, Lin Feng wanted to see if there was any good locations nearby. Bei Er road was close to Zheng Da road which was a high class and significant road where many powerful and important people lived, so if he could open a store nearby it would be advantageous to him.

The supermarket didn't need to be on the scale of the old world's, and even if it was that big, it wouldn't have the same amount of goods to sell. Lin Feng was looking for a building the size of a convenience store. But even that kind of store was very rare to see in the apocalypse.

Looking around at the different houses, Lin Feng discovered a familiar shop name.
