There was another person standing behind him.
However, that person had been hiding in the darkness thus Jiang Wan did not see him earlier. Now that he has walked into view, he said politely, “Hello, Miss Jiang.”
It was Rong Qi.
Jiang Chenglang stepped through the door. “Rong Qi worked overtime with me today. He hasn’t had dinner yet. I would like to bring him along. Is that alright?”
Jiang Wan’s lips twitched. “No problem.”
How could she refuse? If she did, Jiang Chenglang would probably leave immediately.
The smile on Jiang Wan’s lips became even wider. “Brother Rong, you’re welcome to celebrate my birthday with me. It’s just that it’s a little shabby here. I hope you don’t mind.”
Rong Qi said politely, “Miss Jiang, you don’t have to worry about me. I’m just here with Director Jiang.”
