Jiang Chenglang could understand, as Jiang Wan’s good friend, Ni Manman was worried that once Jiang Yu returned, his concern for Jiang Wan would decrease and he would no longer love her. That was why he picked on Jiang Yu after she arrived at the school.
He could understand such a childish and low-class method, but what he couldn’t understand, was that Rong Qi’s information showed that Jiang Wan was also present at the time. She just watched as the bet was made.

“Then let me ask another question.”
Jiang Chenglang stared at Jiang Wan and asked, “Are you sincerely welcoming her back to the Jiang family?”
Jiang Wan nodded. “Of course!”
Ni Manman moaned and said softly, “Wan Wan, you’re hurting me…”
Jiang Wan quickly let go of her hand.
Ni Manman had wanted to endure it but it was too painful. She felt that if she did not say anything, Wan Wan might pinch off a piece of skin from the back of her hand.
Ni Manman touched the back of her hand. Sure enough, it was red.
It hurt.
Jiang Wan cursed Ni Manman in her heart. She was really a failure. She just kept dragging her down!
If she had known earlier, she would have gotten someone else to play Ni Manman’s role. It was a pity that Miaoyi did not hang out with them anymore. Otherwise, with Miao Yi’s personality, she would not have made such a low-level mistake.

Jiang Chenglang looked at Jiang Wan as if he was looking at a stranger.

Jiang Chenglang stood up. Coincidentally, the doctor had just returned with the medicine.
He did not even look at the doctor and said mechanically to Jiang Wan, “Take good care of yourself. I’ll send someone to pick you up on the day of the banquet. If you need clothes to wear, you can have the butler bring them over a day earlier. I’ll be leaving first.”
After Jiang Chenglang finished speaking, he lifted his feet and left without any hesitation. He did not even bother hearing Jiang Wan’s goodbye.
“Big Brother, do you want me to send you off?”
Jiang Wan lifted the blanket and got off the bed. However, just as she had put on her slippers and was about to leave the bedroom, she heard the sound of the door closing.
Jiang Chenglang had already left.

Jiang Wan was furious when she heard Ni Manman’s voice. Her body slid down and she laid down on the bed. She said in a tired tone, “Man Man, you should go back now. I’m tired and I want to rest.”
Ni Manman was still indignant. “Wan Wan, don’t be sad. Your Big Brother must have been deceived by that b*tch… that Jiang Yu. He has watched you grow up all your life. How could he not love you?”
Jiang Wan covered her head with the blanket.
She really didn’t want to talk to this idiot anymore.
