Lin Yi had just hung up when his phone rang again. He assumed it was Lingshan and just picked up. “Girlie, what is it now?”
“Ah? Girlie?” The voice paused.
“Huh?” Lin Yi could tell that it wasn’t Lingshan. “You are…”
“I’m not your girlie… I’m Xu Shihan…” Shihan was a bit speechless- this guy sure was rough with words, calling her girlie right after answering the call. If she didn’t know his personality, she’d think that he was a gangster with intentions toward her!
“Oh, you’re a girlie too. Xu Girl, what’s up?” Lin Yi didn’t think that Shihan would call him.
“…” Shihan was a bit speechless but left it at that. She was a girlie after all, wasn’t she? She didn’t really mind the name. “Earlier, you said that you’d help me make some medicine? I have time today. I’ll go get them and take some pictures with your friends?”
Xu Shihan’s concert had ended, but the tour continued to other cities. She wanted to get some medicine from him before leaving, and her manager Wang Sis had already gotten into contact with Miracle Guan Company, saying that she’d be their spokesperson for free. Fatty Lai didn’t know where that came from– originally they wouldn’t even come when they paid for it, but now they’re doing it for free?
Fatty Lai pretty much suspected Wang Sis, wondering if she was a scammer.

Fatty Lai understood then, and he felt that it was a reasonable trade for her to offer being the spokesperson for free. After all, how much money could you spend on that?

And so, Fatty Lai used her as much as he could, shooting advertisements and videos, doing anything he could- they even replaced all of the packaging of the Miracle Doctor Guan medicine with her picture!
They even added a motto: Do you want to have the skin of a superstar? Use Miracle Doctor Guan’s medicine, and you’ll have no scars!
Even Wang Sis couldn’t take it anymore- when had Xu Shihan been used like this, given commands like some maidservant? Even if they were paying huge amounts of money, they couldn’t move her like this! What was this guy thinking?
But Xu Shihan only shook her head, saying that it wasn’t much. She felt that since Lin Yi was treating her as a friend and giving free treatments, she should return the favor. Things were now different, after all.
She also felt that the people around Lin Yi didn’t care about the fact that she was a superstar too much- she was so pretty and cute, but this Fatty Lai didn’t seem to see that at all, looking at her ‘value’ from a business perspective…
Although, what Shihan didn’t know was that Fatty Lai was treating her as Lin Yi’s backup tire- who knew if she would rise to become a proper girlfriend all of a sudden. He couldn’t have any bad thoughts for his sis-in-law.
But, the painkiller product hadn’t been mass-produced yet. They only had some samples in the company. She’d have to get them from Lin Yi.
“Today? Sure.” Lin YI didn’t have anything to do anyway, “I just went to a seafood restaurant and got a lot of takeaway. You can come and join us.”
“Seafood?” Shihan blinked, a little amused. “Alright, I’ll go to you. What’s your address?”
“Seashore Villa District…” Lin Yi gave her the address. “Use your GPS if you can’t find us.”
“Alright, wait a bit then.” It was rare for Shihan to have a friend, especially one who didn’t have any motives or anything. This made her really glad to play with them! After all, it was very hard for her to meet any genuine friends. Women who got close to her wanted to use her aura to climb higher, while men thought about lecherous things.
But Lin Yi and Xiaoxiao were different- the two were nice people, and through her interaction with Fatty Lai, she realized that Lin Yi’s friends were good people too. She could imagine that the friends he mentioned earlier would be good people too- otherwise, with Lin Yi’s proud personality, it was hard to accept people he didn’t like.
After hanging up, Xiaoxiao looked at Lin Yi enthusiastically. “Lin Yi honey, was that Xu Shihan?”
“Yeah, she’s coming to get some medicine later, you guys could hang out.” Lin Yi seemed to think that it was a really normal thing for a superstar to come to his doorstep- other people would be freaking out over that.
“That’s great! Then we can do karaoke at home, let Xu Shihan do a live performance for us!” Xiaoxiao was very excited. “I’ll call Tang Yun Sis right now, let’s go get her!”
Lin Yi wasn’t interested in superstars, so he couldn’t understand these emotions Xiaoxiao was feeling.
Upon reaching home, Xiaoxiao told this exciting news to Mengyao and Yushu. Tang Yun was happy as well, but she was a lot less energetic compared to Xiaoxiao, only smiling as she said hi to Mengyao and Yushu.
Tang Yun had become a regular guest at the villa, after all.
“Then, are we going to prepare some good food for Xu Shihan tonight?” Mengyao was the owner of the villa and had to treat guests accordingly. This was a superstar, too.
“No need, I got some seafood takeaway.” Lin Yi waved the big bag of lunch boxes. “From Tyrant Seafood Restaurant. An idiot treated us today.”
“Idiot?” Mengyao felt odd.
“Some guy who wants to chase Tang Yun,” Lin Yi explained simply, lazy to explain Fafa’s thing.
Xu Shihan arrived all of a sudden, interrupting them. It was evident that she was on the way after the phone call, and the gap between their arrival lessened because Lin Yi went to fetch Tang Yun.
Xiaoxiao and Yushu rushed to the doors- the house now had two energetic sunshine girls, and Lin Yi had gotten used to that.
