Chapter 1065: Suspcious Opponent
“I know!” Xiaoxiao said, not minding. It’d be better, actually. If the other racers were all pros, than she wouldn’t have a chance!
This was also so that it would be fair- the organizers of the race would always put the people at the same level in one match, since if the difference in ability was too great it wouldn’t be interesting to watch. It wouldn’t be exciting.
The last class ended at around four, so it was now twenty minutes until six, the time of the race.
The music started sounding- the race was starting!
“Will the participants TT000 and 2B941 please make preparations.” An announcer spoke through the speakers after the music.
“2B941? You’re the Idiot?” Xiaoxiao was a little annoyed at the plate- in Chinese, the licence plate sounded like it was calling her an idiot! So she was a 2B now, an idiot?
Lin Yi smiled, shrugging, “Just a licence plate, why do you care so much? Let’s go.”
“You drive?” Xiaoxiao nodded.
Only then did the hipster notice the Lin Yi that came from the co-driver seat, his eyes wide. “You… Aren’t you that master racer..?”
“Ha…” Lin Yi nodded.
“Yeap, he’s now my husband!” Xiaoxiao said proudly as she grabbed Lin Yi’s arm, happy at the shocked face of the hipster.
“Great going, Feng Sis! If it’s him, then you’d win for sure!” The hipster said respectfully.
“Haha, of course!” Xiaoxiao nodded and got on the car.
Lin Yi drove his car, following the instructions of Xiaoxiao, and stopped at the junction of the mountain road. Nobody paid her Audi TT much mind, since this was the newbie match, and the cars here wouldn’t be too amazing. Xiaoxioa’s wasn’t even modified, so it wouldn’t be very powerful at all.
As for the 2B941, no one knew what it looked like.
However, Lin Yi driving was a new face, compared to the familiar face of Xiaoxiao. They started cheering, assuming Lin Yi was some pretty face rich boy Xiaoxiao fished up.
At around five fifty, a land rover pulled up, the licence plate- 2B941! The land rover was a bigger car, but the racer’s skills were no laughing matter. It drove in with alarming speed, stopping with a drift right on the junction!
The drift was so intense that there were only two centimeters before it crashed into Xiaoxiao’s car!
Xiaoxiao jumped in shock, making a sound from the scare. She sweated from the incident- the big car just drifted over, barely stopping in time!
Xiaoxaio was getting annoyed. Who drove like this? She pulled down the window and rageed. “Do you know how to drive? What’re you doing, drifting in like this?”
“Heh, little girl, you’re pretty feisty!” The sunglasses man popped his head out, a smile on his face. “Wanna get on my car, girlie? Let you feel the wind?”
“Die!” Xiaoxiao glared. This baldy seemed to be quite the driver- at least, if Xiaoxiao were to race him she’d have no chance.
Of course, they agreed that Xiaoxaio would drive with Li Yi supporting her, but looking at this bald sunglasses guy and she knew that she wouldn’t stand a chance. She gave up, “Lin Yi, honey, maybe you should drive- this baldy 2B seems really good.”
“Heh, girlie, how’d you know how good I am, you’ve never been in my bed before! Come with me tonight, I promise you you’ll xxxx!” The bald man said with a eerie smile.
“It’s okay, I’ll drive while hugging you.” Lin Yi said with a smile.
“While hugging me?” Xiaoxiao’s eyes were wide, in disbelief!
Racing was dangerous enough as is, yet Lin Yi wanted to drive in a position like that? Just how dangerous was that, did he just want to make her happy?
But, even though Lin Yi was just trying to be sweet and joking, Xiaoxiao did feel the sweetness! In order to make her happy, Lin Yi didn’t care about danger, this made her extremely happy!
“No… It’s too dangerous…” Xiaoxiao shook her head, “What if the car kills us because of that?”
“It’s not dangerous.” Lin Yi shook his head, not minding it. He smiled, “I haven’t had 3p with you yet, I can’t die.”
Xiaoxiao was a daredevil herself, saying crazy stuff like that, but letting Lin Yi say that made her blush, “Really? It’s not dangerous?”
“Trust me,” With that, he got out the car and went to Xiaoxiao’s side, only to see that the land rover was too close- he can’t open Xiaoxiao’s door!
Lin Yi frowned and knocked on the window, impatient. “Move your car over a bit, don’t block the road!”
“Who are you, pretty face?” The baldy clearly was pissed that Lin Yi talked to him that way. He glared, not complying.
“Told you to move your car, can’t you hear?” Lin Yi didn’t want to stoop to his level, but this man was annoying him.
The baldy shut his window, as if he didn’t care at all.
“Beat him up, beat him up!” The young people all started cheering- this sort of conflict was what they liked to see the most! There were plenty of blood in races like these, but they usually happend after the race, not before.
“Ooh, beat him up!” The other people cheered as well.
Lin Yi naturally wouldn’t care about these cheers. Seeing that the man didn’t want to move, he kicked the car!
With a slam, and another slam, the car was already dented by Lin Yi’s kicks, two big curves in them!
“Ooooh!” Lin Yi’s actions made the crowd cheer wildly!
