A “clank” rang out as Muir dropped the stone bowl he was holding.

Bai Qingqing found Muir’s foolish expression funny, but her heart ached for him even more.
“I said that we could become mates, but only if Parker and Curtis are agreeable to that.” After saying that, Bai Qingqing put her hand to her forehead, fretting. Both Curtis and Parker would definitely be angry at her.
