Seeing the four or five men enter the Old Crow Inn, the Mono-eyed Bruiser behind the counter narrowed his eyes and looked at the young man in the front with a faint trace of resentment.

The youngster was of a skinny build with long narrow eyes. He wore a fur robe, creating an air of grimness and unruliness.

"Wu Jie, what are you doing here?"

The Mono-eyed Bruiser asked in a suppressed tone.

At this point, the previous buzz and excitement in the hall vanished. All the diners and the drunkards looked stiff, as if they were rather afraid of the young man named Wu Jie.

In Green-sun Tribe, "Mad-dog Wu Jie", backed by the Wu Business, was notoriously famous for his extreme brutality and craze for killing.

Over the years, Wu Jie had killed at least a hundred people, and offended even more. But because of the Wu Business, he was still at large.

For example, it was Wu Jie who brutally dug out one of the Mono-eyed Bruiser’s eyes with his fingers two years ago.

Wu Jie grinned and said, "Mono-eyed Bruiser, you'd better sit tight. I'm only here to take someone away."

Saying that, he turned around and asked one of his henchmen, "Which room is that boy in?"

"Southwest corner of the second floor!"

"Let’s go."

Unhurried, Wu Jie went upstairs with both hands tucked behind his back.

Watching the group of them swagger by, the Mono-eyed Bruiser’s expression twisted with mixed emotion, but in the end, he didn’t utter a word.

Soon, the Mono-eyed Bruiser realized something and looked up, the image of a handsome and warm young man rising before his eye.

“The boy is obviously not simple. Pity he offends the Mad-Dog, Wu Jie. I’m afraid he will be dead soon.”

The Mono-eyed Bruiser drank a glass of wine and sighed pitifully.

Mad-dog Wu Jie, a man who reached fourth level of Martial Realm, was not one of the mightiest in Green-sun Tribe. But with Wu Business behind him, and because he only killed ordinary beings and never dared to pick a fight with powerful figures, so far no one could do anything about him. The diners in the lobby on the first floor apparently realized that Mad-dog Wu Jie was there to deal with the young man and they couldn’t help but talk about it.

"In my opinion, apparently this is the first time for the young man to enter the Green-sun Tribe. The huge bag he carries is obviously valuable but unfortunately, the notorious Mad-dog is after him, leaving him no chance of survival."

"Unfortunate? Aren’t you drooling? Previously I saw you coveting the ‘little fat sheep’ and trying to take the chance!"

"Hmm! I’m not the only one. Who in this hall is not drooling over the ‘little fat sheep’?"

The expressions on the diners faces varied, more or less with some regret, not for Lin Xun, but for the fact that this “fat sheep” would be eaten by a mad dog.

During the discussion, the door of the room at the southwest corner of the second floor was opened. Wu Jie and his party walked in. The door was closed again, making it impossible to see what was happening inside.

"Fatty Shiao, why are you back?"

The Mono-eyed Bruiser saw Fatty Shiao, who had left before, return together with four people.

After getting a clear view of the four people behind Fatty Shiao, the Mono-eyed Bruiser’s expression turned weird. These four were all vicious people who lived a violent bloody life in the Green-sun Tribe.

But compared to Mad-dog Wu Jie, the four were not even a match.

Fatty Shiao smiled proudly and whispered in a low voice, "I think about it over and over, still unwilling to just watch a fat sheep pass by without taking a bite. So, I invited some friends to join me."

The Mono-eyed Bruiser sneered, "You’re too late. Some early bird already got the worm."

Hearing that, Fatty Shiao’s expression altered drastically, "Who’s so fucking villainous?"

Just as the Mono-eyed Bruiser was about to say something, there came a loud bang in the lobby.

From the opened door of the room at the southwest corner of the second floor, a dark shadow flew out and smashed into a table on the first floor, shattering cups, plates, kettles and tables and startling several drunkards at the table so much that they nearly fell to the ground.

Several screams rose up, turning the scene into total chaos.

The man was one of the subordinates of Mad-dog Wu Jie, who was now dead with a broken neck and bulging eyes full of horror. Seeing that, the whole hall fell into a dead silence.

Who would have thought it was Wu Jie's subordinate!

Fatty Shiao’s face suddenly changed and he knew right away who the man before him was. What he didn’t expect was that the dead body thrown downstairs was not “the little sheep”!

Also astonished by this, the Mono-eyed Bruiser could not help but look at the room at the southwest corner of the second floor.

Bang!

At almost the same time, another corpse was thrown downstairs. It was also Wu Jie's subordinate. The crowd broke out with another burst of screaming and everyone was terrified.

This one died in an even more horrific way, arms twisted like fried dough twists and chest collapsed as if trampled by a wild bull.

Face twitching violently, Fatty Shiao gasped in astonishment. Finally, he realized that the warning from Mono-eyed Bruiser was true. The boy was by no means a "little fat sheep", but a “fierce wolf” in sheep's skin!

"Wu Jie is up there too?" Fatty Shiao couldn’t help but ask.

The Mono-eyed Bruiser nodded, and he was extremely shocked to see two of Wu Jie’s men killed in succession especially with Wu Jie present. It was unusual.

Bang! Bang!

Soon, another shadow was thrown down, only this time it was two corpses. One was split in the head, blood and brain plasma gushing out, and the other with his throat cut, blood gurgling but quickly converging on the ground into a pool.

This time, the diners and drunkards all shivered with horror at the sight of the bloody scene, their greed vanishing without any trace.

It was too horrifying!

There was not a single sound of fighting, yet the four men that followed Mad-dog Wu Jie all died one after another. This was obviously not something an ordinary man could do.

But even though extremely shocked, not a single person left. They all looked up to the room at the southwest corner on the second floor, seemingly waiting for something.

The Mono-eyed Bruiser was no exception. Now there was only Mad-dog and the young boy in the room, who’d be the winner of the fight?

As for Fatty Shiao and his fellows, they were petrified and rejoiced secretly that Mad-dog Wu Jie acted before them. Otherwise they would already be dead.

No more bodies were thrown out. But just as the crowd began to get uptight, a teenager walked out from the room.

He wore a gray coarse cloth with his long hair tied haphazardly behind his head, his face delicate and warm, his eyes black and clear, and his nose prominent. Between his eyes, there exhibited a unique immaturity of a young boy who, wearing a warm smile on the corners of his mouth, looked extremely innocent with his thin figure. On his back he carried a huge hide bag, but in his hand was a bloody package with beads of blood dripping to the ground, terrifying all those present.

Needless to say, this teenager was Lin Xun, and there must be a bloody head in the package he carried.

Seeing such a scene, the air was frozen in silence so that even a falling needle could be heard. Only Lin Xun’s unhurried footsteps could be heard in the room.

Hands trembling involuntarily all of a sudden, the Mono-eyed Bruiser spilt his wine, which he didn’t even notice out of his extreme shock. He knew from the very beginning that Lin Xun was by no means ordinary. But it never occurred to him that Lin Xun would be so extraordinary to be able to kill the Mad-dog.

Fatty Shiao and his party, as well as the diners, all looked dull, unable to hide the fear in their eyes.

There were many powerful yet cruel figures in Green-sun Tribe. If you were not strong enough, there was no way to survive in such a place with no rules.

Because of this, after seeing Lin Xun kill the Mad-dog Wu Jie and his people in such a short time, everybody realized that an exceptionally ruthless role had come to the Green-sun Tribe!

"Innkeeper, I’m sorry I need to checkout of the room."

Lin Xun came to the counter with a helpless smile.

The Mono-eyed Bruiser trembled all over, immediately took out twenty copper coins and handed them over to him, "Here is your room charge."

Lin Xun took fifteen of them and left five to the Mono-eyed Bruiser, "Something unexpected happened today, destroying a lot of things in the inn. Please take the money on those corpses as compensation."

Meanwhile, Lin Xun looked thoughtfully at Fatty Shiao beside him. Smiling, he teased, "Dude, you pissed your pants."

Fatty Shiao was in a bit of a daze. Looking down, he found water stains under his feet. And it was wet between his leg. Face burning with extreme embarrassment, he felt so ashamed that he desperately wished there was a hole to hide in.

Lin Xun had left and the dead silence in the hall soon dissipated. Now, seeing Fatty Shiao making such a show of himself, all those present couldn't help but burst out in laughter. Fatty Shiao was scared out of his pants!

Watching all this, however, the Mono-eyed Bruiser did not laugh. He knew very well that the death of Mad-dog Wu Jie and his party would soon infuriate the Wu Business, causing unimaginable consequences.

"I can only hope the boy can get out of the jaws of danger."

The Mono-eyed Bruiser sighed privately in his heart. Lin Xun killed Wu Jie, indirectly avenging for his lost eye. Naturally, he didn’t want Lin Xun to be harmed by Wu Business.

The pity was the Mono-eyed Bruiser also knew in his heart because of the power possessed by Wu Business in the Green-sun Tribe, the young man might not be able to survive the night.

……

“I never expected that they would be so impatient to take action tonight. Seems like all I can do is change my plan and visit the Keystone Business by night.”

Lin Xun led the scaly horse and walked on the street, planning his next step.

Killing Mad-dog Wu Jie would undoubtedly draw all the hatred to him, but this was exactly what Lin Xun wanted.

Every injustice has its perpetrator, every debt has its debtor. Since Wu Henshui ignored the lives of all the villagers and attempted to encroach on everything in Feiyun Village, this was destined to the ugly end.

Lin Xun would never let Wu Business pour all its fury on the villagers in Feiyun, just because of the death of Wu Henshui.

But what really surprised Lin Xun was they reacted so fast that he had to temporarily change his plan.

He knew that the minute he left the Old Crown Inn, the news of Mad-dog Wu Jie’s death would be sent as quickly as possible to Wu Business.

Therefore, this problem must be settled tonight, otherwise he would be in great danger.
