Untara became more and more anxious when the pain escalated. His eyes were half closed and he could feel himself losing consciousness. He knew that he had almost run out of blood and he could pass out any moment. Reaching Sangkal Putung in his condition was impossible if he did not get any help.
Once a while Untara has to took a breath. Around them sprawled a forest of bushes, though not too thick, but impossible to find someone living around here. “If only we could reach Ki Tanu Metir’s house” he suddenly hissed.
Sedayu was surprised to hear Untara voice. he asked, “what did Kakang saying?”
“Ki Tanu metir house” answered Untara.
Sedayu had been to Ki Tanu Metir’s house before with his father in Hamlet Pakuwon. But the house was still a distance away from them. Suddenly Sedayu realised the situation he was in. Frightened, he looked around. Bushes. What if a beast suddenly appeared before them, they would really die then. Sedayu no longer thought about his brother’s words as he said with a trembling voice, ” the path in front of us is very dark. How is our situation if we meet a tiger? ”
His brother held back his feelings, he said ignoring his brother “we must go to Ki Tanu Metir’s place.”
