Untara was surprised to hear the shout. So he became distracted for a moment. He saw a horizontal sword attack toward his stomach, while the tall stout man stabbed him in his back.
But Untara was a qualified Pajang warrior. So with his speed and agility, he shifted his body while he lowered himself, the sword of the young man just passed a bit from his body, while the tall stout man dagger stabbed some distance away. Nevertheless, Untara still took a moment to break free from the following attacks. Meanwhile, Pande besi had begun to run towards Agung Sedayu.
The sly Pande besi was laughing loudly. His voice is now completely fierce like a bloodthirsty ghost. He had been convinced that the young man would be his first victim without difficulty. So he said as he ran “Hold him back. Let him see this young man suffer.”
For a moment Untara became confused. He had not had another chance to pursue Pande besi. He had been left behind a few steps away. If only his brother could do something then he would have a chance to help him. But his brother had become stifled with fear.
Suddenly Untara leaned forward. He grabbed a stone the size of an egg. With all his strength he threw it at the horse standing beside his brother. The horse was surprised. The horse neighs loudly then jumped up and ran aimlessly. It was fortunate that the other horse was also surprised, and like the other, that horse shot off like an arrow.
