Chapter 15: The Wind Stopped (part 1)
Hei Ban's heaven's eye, Godly Light, was like a heavenly might which descended in the instant that it shined upon Wind Valley. The originally violent gale was immediately diminished by half!
Moreover, the gale's strength was continually reduced.
It was perceptible how those stones which were picked up into the sky by the gale were freed as the wind lost control over them and they abruptly all fell to the ground.
"Awoo awoo awoo!" A lot of the stones fell in the midst of the wolf pack, and the wolf pack immediately cried out. Nevertheless, with a low growl, Yu Jin calmed the anxiety and confusion within the pack, while Ju Que protected Regional Princess Qinghuan and the little tiger.
The entirety of Wind Valley was in chaos.
"Sect Head! Sect Head came to save us!"
"Sect Head!"
"Kill them!"
The remaining Godly Tomb Sect disciples within Wind Valley immediately cried tears of utter joy. The scene of Asura domination was finally going to end. They were saved, they were saved.
But everyone else around them had nearly all died. Out of their eight elders, only two remained alive, and they neither had the semblance of a human, nor a ghost. Those who were alive were filled with difficult to satisfy hate and resentment. They wanted to ask Hei Ban to take revenge on their behalf and wipe away their resentment.
The battling Ying Sheng and Wang Xiong's complexions both changed.
Hei Ban had arrived?
This was indeed a huge disaster.
In a split second, the two sides stopped their fighting, because with the gales inside Wind Valley stopping, the Godly Tomb Sect disciples outside were able to see inside. Some of them were even bold enough to rush in alongside the black light.
If they were surrounded, none of them would be able to escape alive.
Wang Xiong's complexion changed even more, because without the wind inside of Wind Valley, with the wind having been reduced to almost nothing, all of his previous dominance completely vanished.
"This godly light shined and dispersed all of the wind inside Wind Valley? This is not the usual heavenly eye? There's something abnormal about this heavenly eye!" Wang Xiong looked towards the direction of the black light with eyes opened wide.
Without the slightest hesitation, Wang Xiong shouted loudly. "Hurry, jump inside. Plunge into the wind tunnel. Hurry!"
"Awoo!" Yu Jin howled loudly and ordered the wolf pack.
"Bang!"
Yu Jin bore the brunt of the impact. In a flash, he* jumped into the wind tunnel.
(*TN: Sorry, I can't decide whether to refer to Yu Jin and Ju Que as 'he', or 'it'. What do you think I should refer to he/it as?)
Even though they were agitated, the five hundred greenish black well-trained wolves still charged into the wind tunnel.
"They really jumped?" Ju Que was somewhat scared.
"Hurry!" Wang Xiong glared at Ju Que.
"So what if I die!" Ju Que clenched his teeth.
He grabbed Regional Princess Qinghuan and the little tiger. Then, in a flash, he jumped into the wind tunnel.
"Stop!" Ying Sheng reacted by immediately bellowing.
But, the tigers and wolves only heard Wang Xiong's orders, and simply did not take notice of Ying Sheng.
"Hurry, rush over there! You guys also enter." Ying Sheng's complexion immediately changed as he yelled loudly.
"Humph!" Wang Xiong harrumphed coldly as the long whip in his hand suddenly lashed out.
"Woosh woosh woosh!"
Suddenly, the small amount of wind that Wang Xiong controlled inside Wind Valley rolled up the fallen broken rocks and whizzed them towards the direction that Wang Xiong was at.
"Rumble rumble!"
Broken rocks rolled on and whistled as in a flash, they thoroughly buried the location that Wang Xiong was at.
"Stop!" Ying Sheng furiously howled.
However, Ying Sheng simply did not have enough time to rush over there, because during the instant that Wang Xiong jumped into the tunnel, that place had already been thoroughly buried.
There wasn't even enough time to escape Wind Valley like Wang Xiong had done.
"Boom!" The wind tunnel was thoroughly buried. The ground was filled with broken rocks. Suddenly, they were compressed down and the only thing that remained was a tamped mound of rocks.
There was nothing left.
No more wind tunnel. Within Wind Valley, the only wind which remained were light breezes which passed through the small cracks within the rock wall. Although there were no small numbers of these breezes, under the influence of the heavenly eye's Godly Light, they were instantly obliterated.
In the blink of an eye, Wind Valley became tranquil.
An asura like blood-dyed scene was completely exposed.
The former eight elders and two thousand disciples had mostly already been tragically executed. After they had been thoroughly hacked to pieces, only pile upon piles of mincemeat remained.
Not even twenty people were left alive. Furthermore, each of their bodies were filled with wounds, nearly no piece of flesh was left untouched on their bodies. It was an appalling scene of devastation.
"Barf!" "Barf!" ….............
A large number of Godly Tomb Sect disciples who saw this Asura like hellish devastation vomited violently.
Of course, there were still ten completely fine people, Ying Shen and nine of his subordinates.
Ying Sheng's group of ten people were thoroughly exposed before all of the disciples and were surrounded by all of them. The heavenly eye's Godly Light illuminated the skies above them, while on the ground, wrathful Godly Tomb Sect disciples surrounded them.
"The Qin Empire's Marquis of Ten Thousand Victories, Ying Sheng? It's him?"
"Wang Xiong and Regional Princess Qinghuan are also people from the Qin Empire, they're accomplices!"
"They and the tigers and wolves are accomplices, don't allow them to escape!"
The Godly Tomb Sect disciples suddenly furiously looked at Ying Sheng's group of people with burning gazes.
Ying Sheng's complexion immediately changed. At this moment, he was so depressed that he wanted to throw up blood.
How could he be associated with Wang Xiong?
He wished that he could strangle Wang Xiong to death himself!
However, Wang Xiong had escaped while he had been exposed, and these Godly Tomb Disciples were not going to believe him.
If he didn't try to explain, the thousands of disciples who had assembled certainly wouldn't allow him to escape.
He had to try and explain.
At this moment, at the rear courtyard behind Godly Tomb Sect Hall, with the help of his ninth ranked heavenly eye, Hei Ban focused his attention rigidly on Wind Valley. Just now, when his Godly Light was launched, there were countless masses of sand and dust inside Wind Valley, so he couldn't see situation inside clearly. Currently, the wind had stopped, sand and stones had fallen to the ground, and everything could be seen clearly.
The tigers and wolves are gone?
Wang Xiong, Regional Princess Qinghuan and the pill tiger are also gone?
"Where's the pill tiger?" Hei Ban bellowed directly through the heavenly eye's godly light.
Ying Sheng. "........!"
"Good, good, good, very good, you've killed so many of my disciples? I'm asking you guys, where's the pill tiger?" Hei Ban's bellow sounded once more at them.
"Boom!" A powerful aura charged straight into Wind Valley and instantly suppressed Ying Sheng's group with a burst of chest pain, causing their qi and blood to churn.
"The pill tiger has been stolen by Wang Xiong. He escaped into the wind passageway. We also wanted to kill him. Sect Head Hei Ban, we also want to kill him!" Ying Shen suddenly shouted to the skies.
But how could Hei Ban believe him.
"Catch them for me. Whoever dares to resist, kill!" Hei Ban gave his command.
"Yes!" The disciples outside of Wind Valley immediately yelled loudly.
"Elder present, continue to search. Search, this honorable one wants that living pill. You have to find it for me. Search!" Hei Ban bellowed.
"Yes!" The elders outside of Wind Valley shouted in response.
"Capture them!" An elder immediately shouted.
"Boom!"
Thousands of Godly Tomb Sect disciples instantly charged into Wind Valley towards Ying Sheng's group of people and took them away.
