The orcs had fought against humans for countless years, so both parties knew each other quite well. Looking at the current situation with only 2 head commanders, the human had most likely just sent out 4 beginner wizards at most.
Unlike humans, the orcs did not have the Miracle Spirit to calculate war glory for them. They had to bring the human skulls back for the specialized priests to examine their identity and give our war glory accordingly.
