Compared to the fading happiness of Qin Wei and Luo Xiao Xi’s, Lu Bao Yan and Su Jian An are quiet on the other side, they didn’t even talk to each other on their way home.
Uncle Xu saw them coming home although he feels happy he realizes that they are not in good mood. It seems like he knows the reason why and so he tells the maids to go back to work while he takes a stroll in the garden.
In the huge living room, both Lu Bao Yan and Su Jian An have seated down.
“Su Jian An”, Lu Bao Yan’s called her with cold expression, “Why did you go to that kind of place?”
Why does he question her this way?
They weren’t husband and wife for real and they don’t even have any feelings for each other!
Su Jian An replied to him: “Did you not go to that kind of place too?”
“I went there for a business. Also, Lady Lu, I’m not like you, very easy to get along with strangers, same like before.”
Lu Bao Yan wants to shut down that bar every time he thinks of Su Jian An and Zhao Ran sits together.
Su Jian An knows that Lu Bao Yan is really angry, she looks down on her toes: “We were just talking about our career, nothing else. I was just talking about autopsy and if you want to know, I can also explain it. Did I say something about you meeting Han Ruo Xi secretly yesterday?”
Lu Bao Yan narrowed his eyes: “You saw us.”
He smirked and slightly laughed: “What did you hear?”
“You promised Han Ruo Xi that you will divorce me in the next 2 year and bla bla, I heard it all!”
Su Jian An slightly feels proud–hm hm, she caught him, how’s that!
Lu Bao Yan was slightly angered: “Who told you if that’s really a promise?”
“My eyes and ears told me.” Su Jian An said, “But I won’t bother you and Han Ruo Xi so please don’t bother me also.
Lu Bao Yan lets out a smile, he forces himself to stand near Su Jian An.
“Jealous?”
Su Jian An wants to deny, but it seems pointless.
She suddenly lets out a bright smile: “Perhaps, you are jealous too?”
Lu Bao Yan doesn’t expect an answer like that from his wife, he smirked: “Lady Lu, a person needs to have a little self-knowledge.”
Su Jian An knows herself more better than anybody else.
Su Jian An blinks her eyes: “Mr. Lu, you’re not jealous, are you?” then she annoyingly said, “And you didn’t even let me meet strangers but you’re meeting secretly with a rumored girlfriend! This is unfair! I won’t accept unfairness! Break up with Han Ruo Xi first then I will stop meeting strangers!”
She makes an ugly face to him and run upstairs.
The first day of wedding, Su Jian An is not on good mood.
On the next day
It’s 8:20 AM, Su Jian An is heading downstairs but she saw Uncle Xu went up and said: “Lady, you and Master Lu will be going home at 9:00 AM. I’ve prepared everything and you should eat your breakfast before you go.”
Su Jian An startled: “Go home?”
“Yes, on the third day after wedding.” Uncle Xu explains to her, “This is our customary, Madam called this morning.”
“But…” Su Jian An seems to be counting on something, “I just married him yesterday and today… isn’t it supposed to be day two?”
“I don’t have time for tomorrow, so just pretend that today is our third day.”
Lu Bao Yan wears his suit and comes down while buttoning it. He looks so elegant and more charming.
Su Jian An becomes speechless for a moment.
But so what, Lu Bao Yan and her marriage are for his mother’s sake. They didn’t even have any feelings for each other–he needs a wife to fulfill his mother’s wish and she needs a man to protect her.
After breakfast, Uncle Xu puts all their things to Lu Bao Yan’s car: “Master, you’re ready to leave.”
Lu Bao Yan stands up and went outside, Su Jian An catches on him: “Lu Bao Yan, we don’t have to go to my father’s house and you too, right?”
“You’re the one who don’t want to go to his house.”
Lu Bao Yan gives her a glare like an eagle, as if he knows everything.

Su Jian An hates to be caught, not only Lu Bao Yan knew she’s lying, he also knows everything about her–she really doesn’t want to go home.
That ‘s because that place is where it all started. When she was just fifteen years old, that place couldn’t even be called her home.
When Su Jian An was fifteen years old, her mother found out that her husband Su Hong Yuan has another woman, not only that but he also had another daughter 3 months younger than Su Jian An.
Her mother loves only Su Hong Yuan so it brings a big shock to her that causes a sudden heart attack and passed away.
Three months later, Su Hong Yuan brings Jiang Xue Li and Su Yuan Yuan to their home, he told Su Jian that Jiang Xue Li is now her mother and Su Yuan Yuan is her little sister.
Su Jian An laughs coldly, her new family never looks at her as a family member. From that time on, for Su Jian An, she only had one person as her family her dearest brother, Su Yi Cheng.
After she graduated from high school, Su Jian An moved out from their house. She went abroad to study in a university but she didn’t take any money from Su Hong Yuan. She never wanted to go back to that place. After she got her job, she stayed at the apartment that Su Yi Cheng bought for her.
She and Su Yi Cheng despised Su Hong Yuan.
When his mother is still alive, Su Yi Cheng already knows how to invest in stocks. After his graduation, he uses his money in investment to earn and build a company named “Cheng An Group”. It beats her father’s company in just a few years.
At first Su Hong Yuan didn’t give importance on that small company, but he found out that Cheng An Groups beats Su Groups and Su Yi Cheng really push her father on the edge.
In this case Su Hong Yuan have no option and he won’t let Su Yi Cheng have good days to live. Su Jian An is the only one for Su Yi Chen so he threatens him using Su Ji An.
With only this way, Su Yi Cheng gives Su Company a chance.
Su Yi Cheng quickly finds out Su Hong Yuan’s plan and he wants to send Su Jian An for a while to another country, but Su Jian An won’t leave her brother, so he tries to ask her mother’s best friend Tang Yu Lan for help.
Tang Yu Lan didn’t hesitate and said: “Let Bao Yan marries Jian An! We’ll see who dares to touch my daughter in law.”
Thus, the marriage of Lu Bao Yan and Su Jian An takes place.
The Su house is on the north of the villa area, one hour by car and as soon as they have arrive, the maids open the doors and welcome Jian An and Bao Yan inside.
Su Hong Yuan is sitting on the sofa in the living room. On his side are Jiang Xue Li and Su Yuan Yuan, they saw Lu Bao Yan coming, he lights off his smoke, stands up and laughs: “Bao Yan, we’ve been waiting for you ever since this morning.”
“Sorry.” Lu Bao Yan shakes hand with Su Hong Yuan and then he naturally places his hand on Su Jian An’s waist, “Jian An woke up late this morning.” He said those words like as if he didn’t blame her and acts extra kindly towards her.
Su Hong Yuan sighs: “My daughter got a bad habit on this one.”
Lu Bao Yan smiles and hugs Su Jian An more tightly, “I don’t think it’s a bad habit.”
Su Jian An’s heart is beating uncontrollably fast.
What is this? It’s just an act but Lu Bao Yan is showing off that he is protective of her.
Su Hong Yuan silences for a while and since he wants something from him, he just smiles: “Jian An, there’s so much people out there who wants to be Bao Yan’s father in law. I never thought you would give me the honor.”
But, if Su Yi Cheng and Tang Yu Lan think that he will give up just like that, then they’re wrong. Although nobody dares to approach Lu Bao Yan in the marketplace, but Su Hong Yuan is still older than him. If he really wanted to do something to Su Jian An, Lu Bao Yan wouldn’t dare to interrupt too.
With a thinking like this, Su Hong Yuan smokes: “Jian An, you should be good to Bao Yan.”
Is that a warning from Su Hong Yuan to her?”
Su Jian An coldly smiles: “I know how to be a good wife, so don’t worry about me.”
“Well then, that is good.” Su Hong Yuan knows that Su Jian An won’t meet with Jiang Xue Li and her daughter, but still: “Why don’t you introduce your mom and sister to Bao Yan?”
Su Hong Yuan purposely did that!
Su Jian An feels that she is about to explode, but somebody holds her hand.
It’s Lu Bao Yan.
Lu Bao Yan didn’t take a look at her, but he greets Jiang Xue Li and her daughter, gives them some gifts: “Jian An already mention to me about Madam Su and Miss Su, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Su Jian An wonders–why Lu Bao Yan can be this elegant to other people, but he can be a bastard towards her?
Did he just treat her differently?
Su Yuan Yuan takes the gift and happily accepts it. She smiles sweetly and said: “Thanks, brother in law.”
Jiang Xue Li politely receives it too: “Thank you.”
Su Jian An has no mood to stay together with Su Yuan Yuan and her mother so she stands up and goes upstairs.
